I put these rocks on the top of my potted plant to conceal the soil and after a few waterings the rocks turned brown.

Let's start with the poor packaging. The plastic bag of rock was placed in a very poor box, paper like. It was lose and moving around in the box and the bag broke open along with the box. One corner was crushed and open so about 6 lbs of rock had spilled out a long the way. As for the product, more dust that it. Spent a hour cleaning and there was more white and grey color than black. Use cold tap water to wash it so I'm not sure what aquarium water is going to do to it. It just junk, don't waste your money. Over priced and under quality. Had to give it 1 star so it would take the review but I give it zero stars.

These rocks I used for a potted plant on my front porch. They are very pretty but the size of the bag was a lot smaller then expected for the money.I could have purchased these from the Lowe's in a huge bag for a little bit more.But they did what I needed.

There were lots of broken pieces, and they’re smaller than I expected. More 1-2inch rocks than 2-3in rocks, so it made it more difficult to paint. The smooth surface makes it easy to draw on, at the very least.
