This was a reorder, the first one came in and during assembly I found that the stock was loose from the main body (maybe broken from shipping) with no readily apparent way to fix it myself. I sent it back with the replace the item option and had this one 48 hours later on my doorstep, from the company, not amazon so lightning fast service. You do have to assemble it, including the string so with 150lbs of draw weight you're gonna need a friend. The instructions say to place it between two logs and step down on the food hold. I put it between a rail on a table and a barstool cross member and as my buddy stood (full weight) on it I was finally able to slip the string around the other end of the bow. Comparing it to his, it may be a little more compact but for the money I am 100% satisfied. The sights are nice and allow for elevation and windage and ill probably put a little finger nail polish on the front sight. Out of the box and for the price its a nice little unit.

I really like this bow and it’s very good quality. Seller is fair on the price and description. I will buy from this company again. I do wish it had a crank to load it because I can’t shoot it. I am getting to old at 80. If you know of something look that will work please let me w. Thanks for your good service. God bless

This is a simple crossbow. It is cheaply made but it does work. Mine was missing one cushioning pad, but I substituted a piece of leather of the same thickness when I assembled it. getting the bowstring on the bow is a definite challenge. The cocking mechanism doesn't work properly on mine, but it does work with a little coaxing. If this was my first crossbow, I'd probably be very frustrated with it. Once it is cocked and loaded and you fire it, you will find that the iron sites are probably badly in need of adjusting. I lost the first two bolts we fired at a 35 yard target because they flew high over the target and disappeared. We eventually found one of them and used it again. It only comes with two bolts and you will need 2 or 3 more.
