I highly recommend this backup solar camera for several reasons. It's incredibly easy to install with no wiring required—simply charge it, attach it to the rear license plate with the security screw, and plug the 12V adapter into the cigarette lighter for the display.The display is clear, and the camera is easily adjustable, providing excellent visibility both day and night. Habe die Rückfahrkamera erworben, da ich nicht in die sensible Bordelektronik eingreifen wollte. Der Einbau und die Einstellungen waren leicht und sehr schnell zu erledigen. Die Bildqualität und die Bilderfassung sind hervorragend. Sehr zu empfehlen. Am Akku habe ich trotz häufiger Nutzung noch keine Entladung festgestellt. Bei Bedarf würde ich wieder darauf zugreifen! Super Sache, freue mich immer wieder.

I can't say enough good things about the AUTO-VOX Solar Wireless Backup Camera! It's been a game-changer for my driving experience. Installation was a breeze; just a few minutes with a screwdriver, and no complicated wiring. The solar charging feature is a huge plus. I haven’t had to recharge it manually once yet.The camera provides a crystal-clear image day and night, which makes reversing so much easier and safer. I just wish the 5-inch monitor was a bit bigger. Sometimes I find myself squinting to see the details, especially on bright days. A slightly larger screen would make this product absolutely perfect!Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase. It's reliable, efficient, and the peace of mind it brings is priceless. Highly recommend for anyone needing a backup camera system that just works.

I've just bought my car and it doesn't have any reverse aid's at allAnd I'm rubbish at parking so I figured the expense of this camera is way less than backing in to something, I also didn't want the hassle of drilling holes and running wire's from rear of car to front.This wireless camera is absolutely brilliant it's a doddle to fit it took me longer to get a seized no plate screw out than the whole time to fit . It connected straight away to monitor and it's a very clear image I opted for two Chanel model as I will be fitting a front camera when it's available. I had a question for customers service and a few emails back and forth between us they were brilliant and very very helpful and and resolved my problem . I can 100° recommend both the camera and customer service department.

A few years ago, I bought an Autovox Solar 1 backup system for my Camry. I went with solar because I wanted easy installation. I was not disappointed. At that time, I lived in an area where it rarely rained. The backup system worked perfectly. Since that time, I moved to an area where it rains a lot, and the car was parked outside. A few months later, the battery was not holding charge. I contacted Autovox. Even though the warranty had expired quite a while ago, customer service representative (Gigi) sent me a new camera panel at a deeply discounted price. After some months, the battery on this camera seems not to hold charge. I say seems because, the charging seems inconsistent, sometimes holding charge and sometimes not.When I contacted Autovox, Gigi, (one of the two best customer service people that I ever encountered), recommended that I consider this system with a 5000mAh battery. I purchased the system. Once the system arrived, I charged the battery and as expected, installation was a snap.This is definitely an upgrade from my original system. The battery charger and the activation button are on the sides instead of at the bottom of the solar panel, which is more convenient. The monitor at 1080P gives a very crisp picture. The quality of the picture even in low light is good. The antenna is inside the monitor. It was a short stub on the previous system. This system also came with a monitor holder. The monitor cable is long enough that it could be routed to any convenient location. The monitor connector that plugs into the lighter has a USB charging port, very useful feature for charging the phone. (Solar 1 did not have that feature). The 5000mAh battery is nice. The camera comes alive when the car starts. The camera can also be activated by pushing the button on the plugin connector. a feature that I like. (Solar 1 also had this feature). The menu makes setup easy. I have not tested the dual camera feature yet.I am parking the car in the garage and will know in a year how the battery on this system holds up. I am happy that I bought this system. Big part of the reason to stick with Autovox is that they stand behind their product.

We tried this camera for two purposes. First....as a general backup camera with the addition of using it to make hitching a trailer easier when you don't have a "spotter" and second....as a replacement for a rear view mirror on our truck with a slide in camper. We used it extensively on a just-finished 3500 mile southwestern US national parks road tripIn both instances this camera does the job. As a traditional back up camera I really should have given it a 5 rating. Video quality is very good/excellent even at night and it has little to no lag given that it's a wireless camera.As a rearview mirror replacement.....it's really quite good......but being too wide a lens at distance it presents a wider view than the mirrors on the truck. Hence my overall 4 rating.I know this camera is not intended as a mirror replacement....but it does work in the capacity. It just could do that job a bit better.Controls are simple and pretty intuitive.If I were to change it at all.... I would ask for a shorter power cord....or better yet I'd love to see one of these companies engineer a user-defined diy cord length option for those who would like and capable of doing that. Second....I'd like to see them include a longer "on" time for the camera than the options they have now. Perhaps as long as 5 minutes.All in all a solid success. Contributes significantly to safety. A good value. Dirt simple install. And it appears to have good battery life with the built in solar charger.
