I was very disappointed in this product because it does not braid the hair like the product description says. It just twists the strands of hair. I used this on my 5 year old, I don't think she would be able to use it on her own.

Far as I know , this is a good product. I got one for my Granddaughter, which is 6 years old. So she seems to like it. I only can communicate over phone . Since we live far apart . Thank you

Clips hold very little hair unless it’s super thin, and shorter hairs will stick out. I found the beads difficult to use too, it felt like cheap plastic, I could only press beads up on a very small strand of hair. This may be good for toddlers with thinner hair, but not a 6-year-old with thicker hair.

This did nothing to my granddaughters hair except tangle it. We use it for her dolls.

Although this doesn't braid the hair, she still had fun twisting her and families hair. Comes with good accessories.
