DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! On the highest speed it will throw the ball maybe 15 feet, and only 4 or 5 times before the battery dies. Absolute garbage.

Battery died within a month so plugging it in is the only option. Works good otherwise

My big girl plays ball all day long whether you want to or not. Lol! She is a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Mix, so she is extremely intelligent and loves to play all the time. We use it inside so I just aim it where it won't break anything. It works with any 2.5 inch tennis ball. She learned how to load it herself the first day, but sometimes she brings it to me to load for her. She absolutely loves it. We have 2 other dogs a mini dachshund who is older and just kinda does what she wants, so sometimes she chases them. The other one is a rescued deer head chihuahua, so I have to load them for her of course. She loves to run and get them and I was finally able to get her to bring them back to me most of the time anyway. I was able to teach them to takes turns, so that works out really well. Any dog that loves to play will love this! I taught my big girl not to destroy her toys or balls, but I know that's could be an issue, so I recommend only getting out a few balls at a time while playing with them and putting them away right after. That way it is always a treat to play with! I am extremely happy with my purchase!!!

If you read all the features and details and believe them, you would have a nice unit to play, Fetch with your dog and for them to play fetch by themselves.UNFORTUNATELY, THE UNIT HAS MANY FLAWS IF YOU RE-SEARCH THE WEB YOU’LL FIND OUT HUNDREDS MAYBE THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE BATTERY NOT LASTING NEARLY WHAT THEY ADVERTISE AND MANY MANY MANY COMPLAINTS OF THE BATTERY DOESN’T WORK AT ALL EVEN THOUGH THE LIGHT SAYS IT’S CHARGED ACCORDING TO THEIR INSTRUCTIONS.Mine the battery went from launching about eight balls the first day or first charge to two balls then no balls. The battery would not hold a charge or even charge. I contacted the seller who said the battery could be replaced, but didn’t offer to replace it.Didn’t answer most questions and they suggested we turn the unit so it was returned.I got got to mention to use the remote you have to have a clear line of sight within 7 feet of the unit. Another touted feature they used $2 parts to support. It turns out the battery pack is so small 11.1 volts 2600man cells. (About the size of 3 AA batteries) talk about being cheap it’s a $10-$15 battery so the manufacturer maybe had $4 in it and it’s supposed to launch about 250 balls per charge! Touted as a key feature of this unit’s capabilities. Portable take it anywhere, I guess if you use it for a cup holder. For $200 this is a waste of your money. Until the flaws are upgraded these are not worth anything for which it’s intended

This ball launcher was bought for my active “grandson”. He is a German Shepherd. He was very curious when his mother first set it up and as the first ball launched it nailed him in the chest. Thankfully, he was just embarrassed by the hit and in turn ripped that ball to shreds! The next use was over at grandmas house and him and his buddy, Golden Retriever Uncle, were trained in the proper way to stand back from the launcher.Although we have more training to get the morons to actually drop the ball in the top, I think in due time they will figure it out.I would recommend this ball launcher to any pet owner that hates to throw slimy, spit filled tennis balls to their over-active pups.

I will be keeping this but I am very disappointed in the quality considering the price! It feels cheap and the balls are useless. My dog had broken 1 in minutes. The good thing is you can use proper tennis balls. I won't be buying the Idogmate ones as recommended. Wouldn't buy again at that price.

My 8 year old lab loves tennis balls and is extremely sensitive to noise/fireworks/ringtones it’s a nightmare. I was a bit concerned that this would scare him. He get excited at the noise and steps back hoping to catch the ball anticipating the noise/ball launch. He’s a bit old to learn new tricks and think we should have got it sooner. He only drops the ball in with encouragement when we are there but then gets very excited by it.Not noisy at all, and he would know!Good launch distance too. Would be good if you could adjust the angle upwards or left/right but all in all it’s a great product and yes would recommend. Bit pricey but we do love our dogs !!

We have a 1 yo Golden and she loves this! The launcher will send a regular sized tennis ball well over 50 feet. This gets her exercise she loves several times a day. There are 3 minor issues I have encountered - 1 - we also have a 6 month old golden that still loves to chew... and the power adapter for the machine sacrificed itself for him. When I contaced the factory (in China) - the response was unintelligible and the e-mail address provided for further communication was removed (for safety purposes) by Amazon... 2 - the battery/plug in power seems backwards to me somehow - Press the button for plug in and toggle the switch for battery.. 3 - he LEDs that let you know what power level you're on has four settings and 3 lights -so they double up with the 4th setting - odd. Make sure to save the instructions they provide in case of a power outage so you have a bit of paper to start a fire with. - so 4 - not 3 - minor issues - overall I can't see anything really wrong with the performance of the machine - it works great.PS - The wetter the balls (either rain or slobber) the shorter the distance I have a tiny bucket o balls and by the time she has gone thru it 2 times she needs a rest anyway - so not really an issue.

Expensive - yes. Best dog investment ever - yes!Well worth the money as my 2 year old cockapoo absolutely loses himself over it. He was a little confused about it on the first try but as soon as he saw it in action he was hooked. Really sturdy unit which is quite big but light. Easy functions and comes with a remote. It can be used plugged in or you can charge it up to take outside. The sound is not too loud like others on the market (from researching) and as soon as my dog hears the high pitch noise just before the ball is spat out, he gets super excited. It comes with 2 normal sized tennis balls, a rope ball and a sponge ball. All work perfectly through it. The range is good (pretty powerful actually). We have used it inside as well.I’ve put it away and my dog keeps hovering around it as he doesn’t want to stop!A definite recommend for any ball obsessed dog

I was a little weary purchasing this as a competitor product was mentioned as being the top rated one and had way more reviews. But i am glad i got this one instead. The square design seems to be more stable. Quality is nice. Doesn't feel cheap at all. The area for the dog to drop the ball in is larger, so that makes it easier. The way it pauses for a few seconds before launching is the main reason i chose it. I wanted time for the dog to get set an ready to go get ahead. It gives them a little break. Its only a second or two. So far no issues with the launcher. It may have a misfire or two but that's to be expected. I can use tennis balls or rubber balls that are 2.5. Tried both works great. Although, I haven't mastered the remote yet. Haven't used the remote but once. My dog loves this. So glad i got it for her. It gives this Mommy a break. lol Only Cons i could see is the launcher is a little loud for small dogs. But once you realize what the noise is they should be fine. It didn't scare my dog at all. She is a Mini Aussie. Loved that it came with a bag and remote.
