Love that you can program for times and amounts. I also like that you can record your voice calling them. We have 2 outdoor cats that eat and it held enough for almost a week.

Works very well, just wish there was a stainless-steel dish to insert like other feeders have. Other than that...cat loves it.

I purchased this for my 82 year old uncle who has dementia for his small maltese. He was beginning to forget to feed his dog, so I purchased this for him. It was very easy to set up and works great for small kibble. I set two alarms for morning and evening and set it to 6 portions each time which was the right amount for a small dog's feeding. This was a life saver! Thanks!

the manual says you need to download the app to program this. FALSE! just plug it in (no batteries required unless you want backup in case of power outage). you'll need to push and hold the "unlock" button until the lock disappears, then use "set" and + /- buttons to set the time & amount for each meal. it's really easy. a portion size of 5 amounts to a quarter cup of food (i measured).works great and my cat has stopped begging to me for food. now he pleads with this unfeeling mechanical overlord instead.

I got this to feed my outdoor feral cat when I’m not there and specifically this one because of the ability to control the feeding with my phone and because it had a battery power option. Everything is good except it has to be plugged in to use the remote feed option on your phone. Bummer.

Setting up the time and schedule for feeding was a little confusing but so far so good with its functioning.
