I wanted to like these, I really did. BUT. I ran across 3 problems-1. Adhesive just wasn't sticky enough. Came loose even after letting the suns heat help it grab hold for a full day.2. The rear windows fit fine, but just didn't "stick".3. The front windows were a nightmare to install, they crowded the window so tightly the driver side actually snapped. The passenger side would try to close, get pinched and open automatically (safety setting).I had a set of these for my old dodge that were awesome, but these ones just suck.

This specific model of AVS was recommended to me after I had troubles with in-channel rain guards interfering with the Auto windows in my F150. No matter what I tried, including resetting the sensors, the in-channel would always cause the windows to hit their safety bounce back and roll back down.I wanted something that was still quite "low profile" relative to some of the other stick-on vent shades I had seen. These ones are incredibly flat and look quite slick, with an even look between the front and back sections.Installation was similar to most stick-on vent shades, so there are a ton of videos online to give you guidance. Basically, you pull back a small "tab" of the adhesive backing to give you a small section to align and level the shade, then slowly remove the remainder of the backing as you go.Take extra care to figure out how you want the shades to sit relative to the windows/frame. I decided to follow the "rake" of the window frame rather than try to make the shade level with the ground. This gave a consistent look from the back of the rear window to the very front edge of the front window.Tucking the tips of the shades in behind my to mirrors took a bit of wiggling on the first one, but once I did it the first time it was easy to repeat on the other side. One small downside for me is that I'm unsure if these shades were previously opened. There was no protective film on the shades themselves, just the shrink wrap plastic over the entire package. There are a few blemishes on the shades that I'm sure only I can see, but they're there nonetheless and wouldn't have been if film was there as I had seen in other review videos.

I put these on my 2017 F150. They look and fit great. The only problem was my own doing, I should have used a step ladder to install as I have a 6" lift so I didn't get the fitment 100%. No fault of the product. I recommend you tube install videos to make sense of the instructions there are really good videos if you need them. Make sure the surface is good and clean. Paper towel and alcohol because the provided pad is very small. Simple install. I forgot even though they came well packaged a couple of them were scuffed but I used them anyway. That was not cool for the price.

I have always put AVS on my vehicles. They are great to keep airflow in the vehicle while it's raining or to let air circulate while parked on a hot day. These came in ridiculously fast, and they are a breeze to install, and they fit the window frames perfectly. The only issue I ran into is that the tabs that secure them in the corners of the window frames impeded the window function and I could not roll the windows up. I had to use a heat gun and reshape the tabs to allow for the windows to pass by without getting caught on the them. Now with the adjustments made, they work flawlessly and stay in place while driving.

Just like others have already said, the people complaining about their windows hitting the tab and then automatically going back down DID NOT READ THE DIRECTIONS. After reading all the reviews about the "bad fit" or "bad design" and mentioning the windows won't stay up I was really going to settle for the stick-on type instead of these in-channel type. Fortunately I read more reviews and found the ones saying the complainers installed them wrong and didn't read the directions. Furthermore I read where they were saying to put the tab on the OUTSIDE of the channel and theirs worked flawlessly. I decided to take a chance and ordered the in-channel. They were right! I'm so glad I read those reviews because the stick-on ones are lame and sorry looking. Why would anyone get the stick-on when the in-channel ones are priced similarly? The in-channel ones are super slick and look factory. Installation was 15-20 mins tops. Be sure to use the alcohol pads to clean the part of the window channel where the adhesive side of the vent visor will be sticking to. The channel is wide enough to put the alcohol pad on your finger tip and put your finger totally into the channel and wipe the whole length. Dry fit then pull the tape and install. Once installed immediately push up to seat the visor all the way up and then run your finger up in the window channel again but this time you're pushing on the visor to make sure it sticks. Then put the window up and leave it up for at least 24 hours. Can't get any easier than that. Good luck!

Bought these vent visors for my sons truck for a Christmas present. When we put them on (following the instructions) they just didn't seem to want to stay in the tracks. They didn't seem to have enough adhesive tape to hold them in. Anyways we installed them and left the truck in my heated garage overnight. He took his truck and didn't touch the windows for 3 days after. So 4 in total. When he went to roll down the window to get a coffee at a drive through the visor came down with the window. He tried the rest of the windows and they did the same. This product looks good but is not made right.

Got these for my 2020-F150. I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but then other reviews were encouraging. You MUST take the time to read and follow the install instructions. The tabs do NOT go in the window channel, only the sticky parts with the red tape go into the window channel. When you raise the window support and pull out slightly on the visor to let the window easily raise back up fully. I did the two back windows and front passenger without a hitch. However the front driver's, that I did last did not seem to seat as nicely in the track. It was about 12 degrees celsius when I did it in the morning and in the shade. Later when it was in the sun and had warmed up to 22 degrees, I wiggled the front drivers one in a bit as it was more pliable and it seated perfectly! All in all took less than 15 minutes to install. I love the low profile look on my F150. They look like they belong on it! :)

Look great on the truck very seamless and factory look. Blends in with my black paint like it was always there. Make sure you line them up perfectly as the 3M adhesive is quite strong and you will notice if even if they are off a tiny bit. Well packaged but definitely not enough alcohol cleaning pads for the whole truck. Some 3M glue shows on the edges but you can use a flat object to push it under the visor. 3M adhesive was not put on to visor "nicely" so not a clean line of glue to work with but you cant see it once it's on the truck. Stuck well in a car wash no issues and looks really good. If you want to buy door inserts for your truck pillars (where the keypad is) do that before buying these as they stick on top of the door pillars and you would need to modify the door inserts or remove the visors to put inserts on.Visors fit under the mirror edge lip but to line up correctly to match the back side... it comes a little short so you may see a small gap/hole near the mirror edge... if that bothers you adjust forwards but then you'll have a slight gap on the back side which looks more obvious in my opinion. Other than that... great product!
