After having my windshield replaced at a shop and them using an incorrect gel pad, my auto wipers never worked again.Picked this up and did a little trimming to fit my 2012 vw passat.Be sure both surfaces are clean and try to work out as many bubbles as possible.It did have a bubble in the middle, but a few days in the sun and that went away.Factory looking installation and auto wipers work again.Take your time to and clean everything as best as possible and these are great.

My 2019 Lexus GX460 was missing this pad and the intermittent wipers didn't work. It's a little bit pricy but there is enough for several applications. Cut to fit and it was easy to install. My suggestion is to remove the red side first and stick it to the windshield, clean the sensor, remove the white side and reassemble. Worked for me.

Easy to cut and to install. I used it for the rain sensor in my Subaru and has held up for 3 months now. Hope the TX heat doesn’t ruin it.

This pad is not a "gel pad with adhesive on two sides", it is a block of poured adhesive gel, sticky all the way through. This means if you are using a knife to cut it to a shape, the sides of the knife will get stuck to the "inside side" of the gel pad. Being aware of this, you can sort-of peel the gel away from the cut, or pull it apart as you cut, to keep the knife from sticking. A pair of Teflon-coated scissors worked better, but was harder to get exact cut lines.Other than that, the pad worked great to restore auto wiper function to my 2002 Jeep.

i needed to replace the gel pad on my vw passat rain sensor because it wasnt sticking to the windshield. this new gel pad is very sticky and sticks very securely to the windshield and now my rain sensor works even better THANKS
