Comes with all hardware needed to install. Both the wiring and the retainer to hold the gauge inside a gauge pod are included, GAUGE POD ITSELF IS NOT INCLUDED. The harness is high quality, very very simple to install. Gauge refresh rate is a few times per second, nothing to write home about but totally adequate to make sure your engine is safe and/or to tune a carb equipped engine. Not ideal for professional high-level EFI tuning due to the refresh rate.You don't need to worry about any sort of separate circuit for the heating element, the unit automatically warms the sensor up every time the engine is started.The hardest part of the install is finding a hole in the firewall big enough to get the connector for the wiring harness through. Getting the harness from the engine bay to the interior took me longer than doing everything else for the installation. If I install another one of these, it will be much faster to cut the harness, put the wires through and then reconnect the wires once I have them passed through the firewall.
