Used this in a 68 Chevy C10 (Center hole) and it's working perfectly. You should grease the cable before installing. I used a 63" from a TH400 trans and it fits great. This speedo has a smooth action and seems to be fairly quiet, but I can't really tell over the header volume! I like that it comes with a trip-meter and since this is being used in a truck, the 80MPH top range is fine. I replaced the light bulb with an LED version and it works fine (hotter temp brighter white light). Highly recommend this for those who care about quality.

The speedometer was great just too large for the space available on dashboard . No room to enlarge the hole.

This unit made a good replacement for the worn out SW unit in the old diesel truck. The drive cable also needed to be replaced. Time will tell how durable it will be, or if it would have been better to invest in an electronic meter.
