Safe Operations:

- The car to be tested should be far away from smoke and fire source; The gasoline engine and the chargeable battery are possible to occur explosive air, so it is very necessary to prepare fire extinguishing gears accordingly.
- During the test process, it is necessary to avoid moving parts and heat sources to protect the tester and testing equipment.
- To be far away from the cooling fan of the engine.
- Do not put other equipment on the battery which is possible to make the battery inside to be Short, which may cause hurt or damage to the tester and equipment.
- Do turn off the ignition switch before connecting or removing electrical parts.
- Do not leave the car during the test.
- Please confirm the gear position of the car: automatic is at P; the manual is at blank; Do push tight of the manual brake; put blocks before the driving tires.
Instructions:
- For delivery safety, batteries (2*1.5V AAA batteries) are not included, you need to buy extra.
- To make Pen power signal detector test components, there will be a clignote LED and corresponding spoken language if park run very well.

As long as you realize this thing doesn't check for voltage or any current and goes off changes in magnetic fields you will be happy with this purchase. I used this at work to see if a relay was working and I can tell that my coil packs on my car are firing. Great little product if you understand what your getting.

This product takes two AAA batteries. Used it today to test the ignition coils on my car. The LED Flashed and the beeper responded to the magnetic field inside the coils. I am looking to use it more to better understand the variations in the led and or placing the tester in the best location. Used it on my alternator also and it worked great. The instructions are not the best but you can figure it out. Very happy with it.

Received it and opened it up. Installed batteries and laid on tool table. Hadn’t had a chance to get to project that needed it yet and I walk in there one day and it’s going crazy on the table beeping. Had to remove batteries. With any batteries installed it just beeps like crazy and won’t stop. Doesn’t matter if it’s in the off or on position. Annoying! Refund window closed!! Money wasted!!

It has 2 settings but I have no idea what the difference is between them. It does work on ignition coils but you need to be in direct contact with it to get it to reliably trigger, it also triggers on some fuel injectors too. So far i cant say that its has replaced the oldschool way for checking for spark but i do see myself trying to use it first.
