I had a chance to use this over the past weekend to pull out some bumper supports, and it worked great. While the casting is a bit rough, it functions just fine. I was able to pull out two sides of a bumper reinforcement brace, which is heavier than sheet metal, with no slipping or trouble. This is a good inexpensive tool for body work.

The castings are very heavy, and rather rough. The latter isn't important cosmetically, but makes you wonder how well stresses have been relieved in the larger parts. Nice zinc coating that should perform its intended purpose for many years to come. Adjustment (i.e., clamping) is basic, but relatively smooth. I haven't had the need to put this to use yet, but sure the need will arise. I'll report back on that aspect when the time occurs.
