I'm 5'11", 185 lbs and ordered size 38. These fit great at the waist, but are a little shorter than I imagined they would be.I think these are as lightweight as a pair of shorts could possibly be - in fact, they're basically swim trunks, which is certainly not what I expected. However, they will be great in the arid desert summers where I live.The water resistance on these is from DWR coating, which will eventually wash off. I feel like DWR makes more sense on jackets since you don't necessarily wash those as often as shorts.These are currently $29.99 which feels a bit steep for basic swim trunks with extra pockets. However, I also haven't seen a lot of shorts like this, so if you want something like this, it is probably worth the money.

These are very lightweight shorts. The material is thin, but doesn't strike me as especially flimsy. The elastic at the back of the waist led me to immediately need a belt as soon as I put my normal everyday items into my pockets (wallet, phone, keys, etc). They have a LOT of pockets, and the front pockets (with velcro flap) happen to be the exact right size for my phone (Galaxy S25).

I think this is a very good looking pair of shorts. Even though the cloth feels like it was meant for a pair of swimming trunks they still look like i nicer pair of cargo shorts. the back pockets are huge. but its so big that my cellphone fits in there sideways but makes it awkward trying to answer my phone usually pulling the pocket inside out. but there is plenty of other pockets to chose from. the size seems to run big, size 32 feels like a 34 and it has elastic waist to stretch out to an even bigger size.it gets really hot in the building i work in so i think these are great since they are light weight but look more professional than a pair of basketball shorts or board shorts. if your camping stay away from the fire or cigarettes cause they burn/melt very quickly.

The fabric is so soft and breathable. These are made of a quick dry material. You could use these as swim shorts even. They don’t wrinkle easily so you can even use them as dress shorts.

Super great product! The color is so nice and you can style in so many different things. It’s also really great for hiking with all the pockets in the material. Easily my boyfriend‘s favorite pair of hiking shorts.

If I go 3.5 stars, I'll round up to 4-star.The shorts are VERY lightweight. They actually feel more like swimtrunks with lots of pockets.The stitching seems adequate and the zippers function without snagging or binding on the seams. (Testing the zippers is one of the things I do with vigor. If a zipper binds up on the stitching, that's a big fail for me. These zippers I was able to run back & forth really fast without them binding up even once. So the zippers get an A-grade.)My biggest complaint is the sizing... they run big! I'm a 32 waist and these could easily fit a 34 waist. Do they stay up on my 32 waist? Yes. As long as I don't really move much or have anything in the pockets. I will absolutely need to wear a belt if I am going to wear these out and about.

These are great fishing shorts. Nice and cool lightweight material. Good fit and flexible waistband.
