The only real issue is that it doesn't form an air tight seal. If they redesigned the seal it wild be 5 stars.

Let me tell you this tortilla warmer is so beautiful. It keeps my tortillas nice and warm wrap them in a clean kitchen towel or whatever you want to use to wrap them and it will keep them warm. Let me say it is a little heavy because well it ceramic but it’s so beautiful. Functionally you can use for whatever you want to store inside. I’m not sure if it’s dishwasher. safe because I hand washed mine. Really easy to clean.
