If you just like tools this is for you. I know I am not going to replace tpms sensor myself, I'm just not equipped for that. But this let me know which tire had a bad sensor before I got to the tire store. I know, they would have figured it out anyway. But one cool thing I use it for is checking air pressure. I can compare all four tires quicker and address the one that need attention. I compared the reading to my older analog dial gauge and was surprised to find them nearly identical in readings.Watch for a sale and get one. TS408s

Had a dead sensor on a 2010 Outback, after the software update, I was able to enter the sensor ID and quickly program a new one from Autel, the car saw it after about half a mile and the light went off. Also easy to check the batteries on the OEM sensors, will probably change the other three next time I buy tires. This saved hundreds of $ and avoided trip to the dealer.

It’s advertised that it clones original sensor and can program new MX sensor. However, it does not clone the sensor. The user has to connect to OBD port and clone original sensor from there. It needs updates prior for vehicle inclusion and it seems very suspect.

Works as advertised. I used it on my 2018 nissan GTR. I swap wheels every 6 months so it was annoying to drive to the tire shop to reset it. I bought a few other cheaper TPMS relearning tools in the past on amazon the $40 dollars ones just did not work with my ECUtek. This sensor had a hard time picking up my rear wheels as I have a really deep dish wheel with fat tires. The audible noise it makes when the scan button is pressed really helped to navigate where to put the tool.

The tool works ok, but to update the device you have to register and give up tons of personal information. I would NOT but again.

The product was used. The outer cardboard sleeve was ripped and taped back together. Also the paper guide that was inside has a beverage cup stain on it from something spilled. The bag that holds the charge cable and wall outlet adapter wasn’t sealed or packed to fit in the box properly. Not sure what was done to it but it will not update all vehicles. I have multiple Autel tools and this one is not usable. Disappointed!

Nice pressure monitor, but unfortunately mine came missing the user manual!Update!Amazing Autel customer service. Yelena, Autel's Rep. reached me out and explained why there's no physical user manual due to environmental reason. Moreover, Yelena sent me a PDF user manual which I have it now on my phone and computer. Great product with great customer service.

The TS408 TPMS scanner is reasonably priced and very easy to use. I bought 4 Autel sensors online from online seller who said he would program them specifically to my car before sending. Once mounted on new wheels/tires it was clear the sensors were never programmed/activated.I then contacted Autel tech support through their website and was very impressed. A real person got back to me quickly by email, and I was actually able to talk to him in person about what tool to get, and the steps needed to program the sensors.I decided to get the TS408 tool, as it could perform all the functions I needed to get the sensors working. Just took a few minutes to clone my original TPMS sensors and get them working. Works perfectly for BMW328i x-drive. Was able to program sensors while already mounted in the wheels and on the car; just need to briefly lower tire pressure to less than10 psi while programming. The TS408 tool is well built, with solid feel and clear display. The menus are quite self-explanatory.While I had the TS408 out, I also used it to scan the OEM TPMS sensors on my Suburban wheels and check their status. It gives a lot of details (e.g. PSI, TPMS vendor, model, battery status, etc.) and takes just seconds to scan each wheel. I took a screen shot of the sensor ID's from the TS408 screen so that in case a sensor fails in the future, I can just program new one to same value. This would be equivalent of retrieving the sensor IDs from OBDII, which this tool can't do.I keep my cars a long time, and figure this tool will be great to troubleshoot and maintain my TPMS sensors.
