This is a unique vintage pattern. I never expected to find this pattern. My beautiful mother-in-law had asked me to help her finish this quilt for my daughter (our 1st child born 40+ years ago). I think she started this when our daughter was born. We recently emptied the old farm house to be demolished and I found the project in a closet, but no pattern. 32 squares had been completed and I could see where she was having trouble with her hands. I ordered this pattern and 2 more for my sis-in-laws and they are excited to help me finish it. We are going to get the rest of the pieces finished and I hope to get it together to give to my daughter, from her grandma, for Christmas this year!

I am making a wall hanging for each of my children, containing each of the states that they have lived in, indicating the area/city where we lived. It will be a lot of embroidery for me to complete! I look forward to doing each state, refreshing my fond memories of their childhood and adulthood in each place.

Item is perfect and arrived quickly. Had been looking for this pattern for a friend whose Mother had started the quilt Most of the blocks were prepared & some of the embroidery was done, but we had no idea how to complete. Now that we have the instructions, she & I are going to try to finish it.
