I purchased these poles after building a deck for my lounge chairs. I knew the stringlights would be the finishing touch to light up my summer evenings. After purchasing the lights I needed poles. I did my research and ordered these poles. They have not disappointed me yet. This version has prongs to dig the poles into the ground which was a huge benefit! You simply attach the top and bottom portion of the poles and step on it to penetrate the grass. They're in there good! They have been though the summer and brutal winter and they haven’t budged. Wind gusts have been high and they’ve seen a few inches of snow. No signs of rust or bending. I would say they’re build of well quality material.

I live in Washington State where it not only rains all the time, but I am in a valley and get strong winds very frequently. I've tried other poles that would either fall over or start to rust. I haven't experienced either with these light poles. They are very sturdy and sway only a little in very strong winds.

These would work better if you could anchor them to maybe a deck or something because once you add any weight (like lights) they bend under pressure.

These outdoor string light poles are fantastic! Sturdy, weather-resistant, and easy to install, they hold up well even in windy conditions. Perfect height for bistro-style lights, creating a cozy outdoor ambiance. Also great for decorations and banners.

These poles are holding up but they are hollow so you can't put too many strands hooked up together on them because it might get too heavy for them.

These light poles are great. We put them around our patio and hung the lights from them and they have completely changed the look/feel of our evening experiences on our patio. We even used them for decorations for a birthday party and it worked perfectly. We get high winds in the Fall, and they have fared well. We did take them down for winter but looking forward to putting them back up soon.
