The black match holder has a more contemporary style. I've been looking for one with a lid for a while now that was not too pricey. Cut out the match strike and fold over tape to attach to the bottom of the holder.

The holder fits a box of long matches perfectly. It's a high quality box and looks good sitting by the fireplace.

Oh so clean and functional! We used the sticker sandpaper for match lighting on the backside of the canister. The seal is keeping moisture out of the matches.

The style of the matches holder is designed in a rustic style. But, the top edge of handle like portion was sticking out of the package so that it had a little paint rubbed off so that makes it even more rustic.

I love the look of this container for our fireplace matches. It goes well with our decor, but just hides well in the corner. I bought little sticker strike pads to perfect it. That was the missing piece, but they were super cheap and easy.

I love the look but advertised it held 12" stick matches and it does not. Also could use a striker in the lid so i have to rip it off the box of 11" match sticks and tape it in the lid

Nice metal container for storing the fireplace matches instead of having the cardboard box sitting out.I removed the strike plate from the cardboard box and glued it to the bottom of the metal container so I can still light the matches in case the BBQ lighter runs out of gas or goes missing.
