The AT-LP70XBT fully automatic wireless belt-drive turntable is designed for budding vinylphiles – those who love sitting back with the album art in hand to enjoy warm, analog music as the artist intended. Added Bluetooth wireless technology gives you the option to listen to your vinyl over Bluetooth-enabled speakers, headphones, or other devices, including those that support the high-quality Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio codec. Arguably, the most important component for generating high-fidelity audio from vinyl is a quality phono cartridge. Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 60 years, and we’ve drawn on that expertise to create a versatile, high-performance cartridge for this turntable – performance that other turntables in this class simply can’t match. Integrated into the J-shaped tonearm, the AT-VM95C cartridge with 0.6 conical stylus offers excellent channel separation and low distortion for outstanding tonal quality. And the stylus can also be easily upgraded with any of the other styli (elliptical, microlinear, or Shibata) in our VM95 Series, offering customization that is normally only possible on a turntable with a detachable headshell and cartridge. The easy-to-use AT-LP70XBT plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and, in addition to its Bluetooth wireless technology, has a built-in switchable phono preamp that allows the turntable to also be connected directly to a home stereo, powered speakers, computer or other component, whether that component has a dedicated phono input or not. The three-piece, anti-resonance chassis provides a solid foundation that dampens unwanted noise for improved sound quality. Noise is further reduced by the inclusion of an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conversion outside of the chassis to limit its impact on the signal chain.

Upgraded from those stupid suitcase players and wow! The sound is amazing playing 40 year old records and very upgradeable with the needle it’s worth every penny.

Great turntable overall. Some assembly required, but the directions are very easy. Love the Bluetooth capabilities in addition to RCA outputs. Has a very clever way of manually placing/lowering the tonearm too. Looks fantastic in the black/copper finish. It comes with a nice stylus and it can be easily replaced or upgraded anytime. The only downside is that my apartment gets very dusty and the acrylic cover is an absolute dust magnet. I've been having to wipe mine daily. It would be nice if they included a cleaning cloth with the turntable.

I love this thing! Even better than expected. The turntable connects effortlessly to our bluetooth sound bar and emits beautiful sound. We are enjoying our vinyl albums from 30-40 years ago for the first time in as many years. Just a really nice surprise how good it sounds even on a very moderately priced LG sound bar with sub. Actually nicer than the standard wired set up in our basement. Go ahead and buy it.Update: I had growing trouble with the player getting stuck or looping, often with new very clean records. My old Technics SLD2 played the same record flawlessly. AT tech support graciously offered a new stylus as a possible solution, but my return window was closing so I returned it. Considering reordering just to see if mine was a fluke, but disappointed for now.

After a handful of years of my wife and I's record sitting unplayed due to babies and a poor quality replacement record player, we were about ready to get rid of our records. My wife kept me from doing so because she said we don't play them because we don't have a good record player. So before getting rid of our records I picked up the AT-LP70XBT. I even had a bit of buyers remorse thinking "We aren't going to use it". Boy am I happy that I didn't get rid of our records because after getting the AT, it has been played every day since! The quality is top notch, pairing via bluetooth is amazing, and the automatic start/stop feature is an absolute game changer and solves the biggest pet peeve I had of our past record players. Its simple to use (so simple my six year old can get a record playing with no help, and he does it every morning!). This is a great record player and has everything you need to keep your records playing!

Initial setup was extremely easy. I had to take the belt off and put it back on because upon first plays the turntable was not stopping properly but it works perfectly. I wish they kept a spot for the 45 RPM adaptor like on the LP60x but other than that it is an amazing upgrade from its previous model. I 100% recommend.

This is a great entry-level turntable. I had a small issue with the automatic functionality on mine where the first couple plays the tone arm dropped before the outer edge of the record so it didn't make contact. It seemed to correct itself after a few more plays however and its been good since. Audio quality is really good and the stylus is upgradable which is a huge bonus. I would recommend this one over the LP60x series for sure. A few extra bucks over the LP60x but worth it IMO.

I am SO disappointed. I had a LP60 that worked flawlessly for years... I decided to purchase this based on my prior experience. At first I was very impressed with the sound quality and the sleek look of the turntable. I LOVED it. Then after about a week of use, it started to skip and get stuck in grooves. At first I thought it was the record itself but alas there were no scratches and it then started happening on EVERY record - even new ones. I ordered a replacement and it skipped on the FIRST play! Come on... so now I'll be tasked with boxing them both back up and returning. My LP60 never skipped even on some beat up albums. I really wish this would not have happened as I love the look of the table... I think the stylus has some issue or the tracking force is off from the factory. Do your research and purchase something else, perhaps one with more adjustability, until they fix this issue.
