Parts missing RCA cords to connect, lid is scratched and little bit damaged. The cartridge was not secured in the box. Now it also is bent. Don't play records very well.

Works straight out the box, easy to assemble. I also want to mention that it’s kinda weird that once the record stops at the end the tonearm goes back to it rest, and if you want to listen to it again you have to press start and then press stop, by doing so the tonearm will lift and move to the start and start playing again.

The sound quality is GREAT, the music is clear and very easy to setup . better quality than a suite case player the speakers I you can use Bluetooth as well. And the price is pretty reasonable.

Listen to the reviews. Yes it is beautiful and somewhat affordable. But, it will start skipping and there is no way to adjust the arm. Amazon was kind and let me return it, but wasn’t worth it. Get one of these with the tonearm, or, a different brand all together. We got a fluance and (although more expensive) has been amazing.

Love my new Audio Technica AT-LP70X what a Sturdy and Balance turntable. No sikpping issues. What an upgrade from the 60 series. The price was right too. Playing Meet The Beatles as we speak. So if you want to upgrade your turntable with out breaking the bank this is a turntable for you!

This is a great turntable for anyone who wants a no fuss way to play records. No aligning cartridges, measuring tone arm force and balance. Just plug and play. My records have never sounded better! The automatic operation is quick and gentle, it’s a very responsive system. I also like that you have lots of stylus to choose from…starting with blue, it sounds good, but I will try others and see how the sound changes. Overall very happy!Update…now that I’ve owned it for a little while…it skips…a lot. It skips on records that never skipped on my old JVC. It skips on records that are brand new. I switched to the red microlinear stylus and this did not help. Old records, new records…it skips. Frustrating, but I do like the sound so I will try to fix it.UPDATE: sent it back to Audio Technica for warranty repair. They didn’t have the parts so they just sent me a AT-LP120 instead. I suspect the design for the LP70 is just flawed.

Lots of solid tech, built in phono preamp, tracking &c set at factory.(I'm a professional audio engineer)The good: rock solid, silent motor. No noise, no hum, no whine no nothing. This is no small thing!Ingenious cue damping, and automatic works well.Simple, elegant design. Looks sharp. Lid locks and works well.Tonearm tracks perfectly out of the box.Decent if vanilla cartridgeThe bad: no way to use a nice cartridge, which is too bad considering how great everything else isStock stylus is only OK, a little bright, a little reedy. Slightly woolly bass.No place to store 45 adapterMatt was not perfectly round....no real biggie

Just turned 70 and got tired of having to get up to start then stop my audiophile type turntable. Solution, why not try a fully automatic turntable for a change but which one. I did not like the styles of the existing automatic turntable until I saw a review of the Audio Technica AT-LP70-BZ on a Youtube channel. It looked okay but how would it sound. I decided to take a chance and find out for myself, to my surprise the AT-LP70 looks beautiful in black and bronze and it sounds really good with the Blue conical stylus. I have ordered the black elliptical AT stylus to finish the set up for now. I am very pleased with this turntable it makes listening to my albums fun again like it should be, simple and relaxing.

This turntable looks just beautiful, and sounds fantastic. Trouble is, after about 3 weeks, it starts to skip. Just a little at first, on older albums. The it starts to skip on everything. No matter how much the album is cleaned and nothing visible, it will continually skip, sometimes multiple times per song. It's almost as if the tone arm isn't weighted enough. Had to return and upgrade to a Fluance; hopefully that one will be better.

It's a great looking turntable- It gets full marks for that. On new, pristine records it sounds and performs wonderfully. The build quality feels pretty cheap. It's light, thin plastic. Components are fine I suppose, but I don't know enough about them. Performance on less-than-perfect vinyl has been very disappointing. Stuff that used to play fine on my old 90s turntable skip like a stone on this, and it will be stuck repeating the same bit until I come over and move over it, it skips when there's no visible flaws, and after a good cleaning as well. There's no tracking adjustments, but adding a 1g weight to the tonearms will at least get the move past the skip, rather than get hung up on it.Unfortunately I was only playing new vinyl for the first few months I had it, so I missed the return period, and this doesn't seem to be a flaw in the turntable, so I doubt the manufacturer will be able to do anything, so I'm stuck with it, along with a few dozen vinyl I can't listen to. I should have held out for something more adjustable and proven.Bumping down to two stars from three after this turntable was unable to make it through 3 out of 3 new vinyl I purchased today without skipping (gets stuck repeating multiple times throughout each album), this is unacceptable.
