This is an excellent cable which, along with an AudioQuest power cable, gives me a fuller, rounder bass sound with more punch from my subwoofer. I can feel the bass as well as hear it, making for a better sound experience for both music and theatrical fare. Well worth the cost.

I am just shocked by the performance of this cable. I have a Martin Logan subwoofer that is connected wirelessly to a small transceiver box that is cabled into the amp’s subwoofer jack. I always used the a cheap old cable for that wired connection thinking that it would not matter. I always got rattle distortion on loud low end sounds. And then, I started to get mysterious pops and hum, sometimes even when the TV was off. I tried to shield the subwoofer cable with a neoprene sleeve. It worked okay if I placed it just right. But invariably it would get moved and the pop and hum were back. It did nothing for the rattle, which I assumed was just inevitable. BUT THIS CABLE FIXED IT ALL IMMEDIATE. Shocked. Just shocked. The Irish Red cable runs from the subwoofer transceiver box to the amp’s subwoofer jack. I used the grounding wires to attach to the back of the amp and I o my blue ray player. I am not going to bother seeing what it is like without them because it sounds perfect now. Watching the Mandalorian now and it is very loud with lots of low end sounds and music. Absolutely no distortion, rattle, hum, or pop. I had no idea a cable could make such a difference. The whole system sounds more cohesive. Just amazing.

I'm a firm believer in AQ cables and probably have over 20 that I use in multiple systems. I'm actually not sure about this one. I use it with my $6k system. It sounds different, but not necessarily better than this $8.49 one from KabelDirekt: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DI89BBU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I definitely need to significantly turn up the subwoofer to hear it. Bass does sound tighter, but definitely not louder. But maybe that' snot such a bad thing.

The connection became intermittent after just 6 months. No way to send it back either. What a load of rubbish. Replaced it with a Chord instead.

Bel cavo, suona bene, ma per il prezzo mi sarei aspettato dei connettori con finiture migliori

First, I do not have an "over the top" system. Martin Logan Motion 35xt "bookshelf" speakers. (On stands) Marantz 5012 AV and a Marantz 7025 2 channel amp. However I also have 2 subs...both Martin Logan, one is a Dynamo 400 and the other a Dynamo 600x. Every piece that I purchased was at a discount, after the "new and improved" version/upgrade model came out. Note: Both subs and the Marantz 7025 amp were factory "Reconditioned". Over a years time, I have upgraded various "good" cables to Audioquest "Rocket series". First the speaker cables... wow!!! after thatAfter, AudioQuest "Golden Gate" RCA cables between components. Another big wow!! Last the subwoofer(s) "Irish red" with yet another huge improvement... I recommend doing one component at a time, to allow yourself to "hear" the improvement in every component individually. Audioquest cables are Expensive, (tried other less expensive cables with little, or no improvements) but it's a hobby, enjoy the journey!!! Now on to Power cords!!!!

Cavo costruito molto bene. Lo uso con un Subwoofer XTZ 10.17 connesso ad un amplificatore Yamaha Aventage 2060. Lo consiglio.

People will always claim that there isn't a difference in cables. Well I know now that there is a difference! I own a complete Martin Logan Motion Series 7.2 home theater setup so I didnt want to skimp on cables. I decided to give a test with this cable being hooked to one of my Martin Logan Dynamo 500 Subwoofers and then bought a cheap $20 cable from BB to connect the other. The difference was noticeable from the start. The cheap cable cause a loud hum and a popping sound while cutting on and off. The other sub connected with the AQ Irish Red Cable remained quiet regardless of operational changes. I would assume that with the added interference it was causing a degrade in SQ also. These cables are worth the money hands down. Even my wife who thinks I waste my money buying over prices accessories told me to change the cable out since it was annoying to her.

Dump MONSTERS cable now, These are wonderful. I had a set of older Monster MCX subwoofer cables attached to my Phase Technology PC 10 and a Bowers and Wilkins 10. This all connected an awesome NAD T-777 Reciever. I thought everything sounded great, I even have my subs on a set of AuraLex Subdude issolators. However, I talked with Audioquest about a different subject and asked them about these cables and he strongly recommend them. So I bought a pair. I did have to bump my gain on both subs by about one tick each, but the clarity difference is absolute. Rock and Metal music bass has actual tonality now, with the monster cables it was more like a muddy presence of bass. Action movies now have much more impact instead of a rumbling mess. I have to agree with the Audiophiles, great cables like Audioquest are the seventh component.I already have Audioquest Forest HDMI and that change floored me by how much difference in Claire they made and not just in video but audio too. I know, I know HDMI a is a digital standard and audio shouldn't make a difference. well I'm here to tell you, AQ HDMI cables really make an overall difference. That led me to upgrade my old monster interconnect to AQ and there, when I changed from monster m100 RCA interconnects to AQ Golden Gate, I had a 5 Db gain from my Rega Turntable and NAD phono stage. That's not even mentioning the added clarity and increased sound staging.Bottom Line . . . dump you old Monster Cables and take a look at AudioQuest stuff.Hope this helps
