This is a good light. It works well, but I feel they missed a few opportunities to make it much better without much additional manufacturing cost.There is no mating electrical connector. This makes it inappropriate for the vast majority of universal applications. It doesn't need to be included, but add it to the product description as an optional accessory.There is no mounting method provided. It is intended to go inside a stock headlight bucket. I get that. But it is a self contained unit in its own right. It doesn't need a bucket. They could easily add a pair of threaded mounting bosses on the sides. It would not have taken away from the stock functionality. I might be able to drill into a cooling fin, but there isn't much meat there. It doesn't even need to include any mounting hardware. Just drill and tap the hole, and mention the thread size somewhere. Provide mounting ears as an accessory to be purchased.Despite being a round light with 2 amber segments, the amber segments cannot be used as turn indicators. If 2 LED wires came out of the unit, but joined into a single connector, it would work exactly as it currently does, but users would have the option to cut one wire and add a spade connector to get blinkers.That would require turning the light sideways with the current design, which would mess up the projection pattern, not good. So instead the 2 LED segments should be broken into 4 and moved laterally to better frame the 2 rectangular lenses.Currently. in both high and low beam, all the white lights come on together. Same pattern, just at different brightness. Because of the distinctive design of the lens, I think most people would expect the central rectangular lenses only to light up during low beam, directed safely low onto the road, shielding oncoming drivers. And High beam to light the upper and lower segments of the light providing a wider view. Because it does not provide this expected desired functionality, it is perceived as a cheap knock off. Not desireable, so more stars removed.A different headlight I reviewed with similar single pattern on high and low beam escaped this criticism because it also provided 2 auxiliary lights to provide the wider view expected on high beam.

Esta es mi tercera compra en relaciรณn a la iluminaciรณn de mi sportster 883. La dos primeras fueron una compra en mercado libre, el primero un faro de $400 pesos que alumbraba de forma decente pero con luz โblancaโ tirรกndole a azul, y con unas altas que no eran tan significativas a la iluminaciรณn. La segunda fueron unos focos muy buenos biled de lupa, el problema es que mi faro proyecta la luz de forma muy dispersa, por lo que no terminaba por alumbrar de una forma adecuada, supongo por el aรฑo de mi moto. Este faro, el definitivo, tiene una luz demasiado potente, y las altas alumbran muy bien al piso (a una distancia alargada) y hacia al frente, ni si quiera tengo la necesidad de comprar unas exploradoras.

Iโm running this headlight on one of my custom bikes and Iโm really happy with it. I like the brightness and the white light but Iโm especially pleased with the pattern of light. It does real good off to the sides and up to a point that lets me see the horizon well but cuts off abruptly above that so as not to be blinding oncoming vehicles. Fit great in my housing and installed in minutes. Functions as it should. And a good value for the cost.
