Brand new and my pup chewed through hers and hers sister's while I was driving. However the quality of the latch and buckle are excellent. Just beware that with power chewing pups nothing short of a steel cable will stop them from chewing.

I needed karabina as supports on headrests too wide, but makes them easy to move too, lots of adjustment and also has elastic part to reduce shock

This one is easy to use as it either plugs into the seat beat or you can clip it to something else. It has a sturdy clip to attach to dog's collar or harness. Good value

It holds back a hyperactive 50# fur missile that wants nothing more than to jump out of the car to look for squirrels or jump on me the second I open the car door. She hasn't broken it yet!The bungee on the end works well, adding a bit of shock absorption. I like that the length is somewhat adjustable, as the seat lengths are different from car to car. Good buy for the money.

This was a well thought out product. I purchased two for my dogs based on the positive reviews and comments that this product reduces the ability for dogs to twist the strap and “get stuck” or unable to move around as well. When I installed them in the car, which was very easy, I was immediately impressed by the design and construction. On the end that fastens to the car, there are two fastener options (one is like the end of a human seatbelt, the other is a clip that fastens onto a hook in the car). There is a loop that holds the one fastener out of the way if you use the other (reducing the ability for the dog to get injured on what would be a “loose” item). I also really love the fastener that attaches to the dog’s harness. It has a safety clasp to keep it from opening once they are fastened in. I highly recommend and will purchase more if needed in The future.
