The interfacing fuses very well but the black of the fusible interfacing bleeds through and stains the material at times. Also, you have to always use a covering to not get it on your iron and this makes it hard to see where you're ironing. I had to purchase an iron cleaner because it really wrecked anything I ironed afterwards with even the tiniest amount on it.

I love Misty-fuse and have used it for many years. I do a lot of raw edge appliqué and this fusible is the thinnest I've found. I like the ability to use with reversed or not pattern. I use parchment paper and it works great. Can also be re-positioned after a few days if you make a mistake. I use the black for dark/black fabrics. Works great!

I will never go back to spraying my quilts again. I just finished quilting a double size quilt and loved the way my needle worked in the material, no glue buildup. And it stayed together the whole time I was working it through my machine. If there was a six star I would give it that.

Works well for appliqué. Not as stiff as other products. Delicate fibers require delicate handling. Parchment paper works well when applying.

I DO know what the REAL use for this item is for, but I needed to repair my mom's very old Mozart piano book, and the black outer binding was fraying apart. I used this web material with flexible, clear fabric glue, since it would need to bend as book is opened n all, and the results were fabulous!!! The look of this material really blended in with the old book cover, and i used it two layers thick and gently pressed down so the glue would spread into the black mesh. I only did one side at a time so each side could dry. This product helped to salvage this old & precious book! Who knows what other uses it may have? Loved the great customer service and very fair price. Thx for a product that is so hard to find in black & in large sheets!!!
