This is attributed to construction from a heat stabilized nylon, providing better resistance to heat, cold/hot cycles and higher resistance to cracking. The kit includes a replacement manifold, gaskets, necessary hardware and a thermostat.

Worked good came with everything to do the job. Only complaint was that the accessories holes were not threaded for factory bolts.

The good.. price, it fits properly, and PRICE. The bad.. poor design, PCV connection in the back is garbage. It’s loosened up twice. Have a vacuum leak from this area. But if your broke and don’t want to spend $300+ for Ford Om this will work. I recommend glueing in the pcv with epoxy before install.

Understand this replacement unit differs from a Ford replacement unit, not only in price but a few things that some people might not like. The center of this manifold is smaller than the stock Ford manifold, thus you might hear more Motor noise. This unit also comes with replacement screws because none of your old Ford hardware will work. (Except for the alternator housing X3) The screws that you have on each of your coil packs will have to be replaced by the screws they send you. A Ford manifold has screw inserts in each hole, I think is a little nicer. Also, the injector rail screws will have to be replaced by the screws they send you. (kinda cheesy). For some that don't know, the torque specs are 216 inch pounds and the sequence is stamped on this manifold. Keep in mind that your thermostat housing is part of this sequence. The biggest deal when replacing your old one, is to really clean the block, so this new one takes a good seat. Over all Great deal.

2000 5.4 with 190K miles. I had the passenger side manifold to coolant connection crack that caused coolant to spew and flood two spark holes and the valley. Bought this on Amazon and watched a YouTube video to remove the old one and installation was the reverse. Also replaced radiator and hoses and cleaned throttle body, EGR pipes, injectors, fuel rail, and AC condenser while I had stuff off. I was very careful with the torque on the manifold install. Now truck runs much better with better throttle response and acceleration. Very happy. Take your time and do it right. I didn't buy the Dorman version but my guess is the are the same either exactly or at least in design if you compare them thoroughly.Update (Less than 3 months after initial install): Unfortunately, I had a leak near the passenger side rear after the installation of this new manifold. I did two things to take care of it: 1) added coolant stop leak from Prestone; 2) re-torqued all of the screws that attach the manifold. I'm not sure which of those two fixed the problem but it's now been fixed without any issues for at least 3 months after the leak with the new manifold. I think my problem was that I had not correctly torqued the bolts during the initial install despite taking my time. The second torqueing of them was confusing because of the jump from inch-pounds to foot-pounds, which is a large jump...and I was concerned with cracking the new manifold. I'm still happy with the purchase and performance despite the small issue.Update 2 years later: no problems and no leaks. Still holding strong after 10K miles on it.Update: Almost 4 years after install and almost 13K miles with no problems.October 2020: I am only at 204K but the manifold is doing fine. I thought I might have had another leak but it was not due to the manifold. I had a bad deal on the heater core hose that dripped onto the intake and caused dome puddles in the valley. So far, all is good with the manifold.

This manifold worked perfectly. It's different from the OEM manifold but did the job. This manifold is not compatible with ford intake gaskets but requires eight individual runner gaskets (included in the pakage). Really happy I didn't have to pay the $300+ for dealer manifold or $220 for a local parts store price. The water cross over came with the necessary plugs/ fittings need for this vehicle configuration. Thanks ATP. The only negative is the noise insulation cover does not fit on this manifold.

First off let me say I have used many ATP parts. Especially their transmission Kits. I have always been happy with the quality and fitment of them. So it was no big deal for me to order this manifold for a truck I was working on. I should have bought a Dorman. I really do NOT like the fact that the retaining holes for the coils, fuel rails, and all the other bracketry are missing the proper threaded inserts. Instead they send you self tapping plastic screws like found in fast food toys. The price was the selling point, you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap fix that may have all the brackets come loose later then go ahead. If you don't want to worry about it get a Dorman. I will still use other ATP Products as I know first hand they work better than this manifold.

Works great! It was nice that all the hardware and gaskets are included. Seems as strong as OE. Price was very reasonable for what you get. Would buy again (hope I don't have to).
