With other resources, I was able to monitor a welding process and count welding hours only. Awesome!

I needed a hobbs meter for my airplane to keep track of service/maintenance on the engine and air frame as well as to keep track of my flying time. This one seems to work ok. If it quits in the near future, I'll update my review, but so far so good.

Do not buy this meter!!! JUNK!!! There were cheaper ones available so i paid a little more for this one thinking the quality would be better but it worked only for 1 hour and quit. There are better brand name meters available from American made vendors for a little more and or this same price and i would recommend anyone to buy those instead of this one.

Replaced a broken meter is an old Case Ingersoll. Fit perfect, easy install, looks factory.

The unit arrived on time, was as described and is working well. It is a little longer from front to back than I had anticipated, but not so much that it was difficult to install.

I used this to replace the hour meter in an Ingersoll Rand 180 tow behind compressor. It fit right where the original went, and the wires were just the same. It only took 3 minutes to swap out the bad hour meter. Only have 4.5 hours on the new meter, but it seems to be working fine.

This is a nice, compact hour meter. To hook up, simply connect it to a wire that is 'hot' when the switch is on, and another to ground. The connectors are labeled which is which with standard electrical symbols. Mounting is simple, the mechanism is rectangular, and there are little flanges that stick out on either side that have holes drilled in them. If I remember right, a #8 machine screw fits the hole nice and snug. So far, it is working just fine, and time will tell how well it holds up to vibration. 4 stars because it is working fine, and seems to keep accurate time, all in a nice compact unit. I hesitate to give something 5 stars without knowing how durable it will be, but so far I can think of nothing to complain about.
