It’s always been recommended to me, probably the best telescoping pole i’ve had. Added bonus is the screw set inside the poles, can change my bindings anytime I want.

Used poles 3 times, lightweight and nice balance. Unfortunately the wrist strap mounting to grip design is weak. The mounting pin is only through the plastic grip , not through the Al pole. Wrist strap quickly became detached from grip due to mounting pin failure. Expect better engineering design from Atomic for a poles intended for advanced terrain.
