Posts fall out of center price at slight movement .no way to keep together to make a tent. Would not stay in place if I could have created concept. Flimsy netting. Looked at return policy. It had been over pond one night so it was ‘used’

I was expecting this to be built like a tent, except with netting instead of nylon... It is not built like a tent. It's basically a roll of bulk netting you drape over tent poles. The netting is not cut & sewn to fit the poles like tents are. It isn't even sized for the poles & footprint and has an obscene amount of excess material that bunches up around the bottom. Those expectations aside, it was easy enough for one person to assemble the poles, prop them up in the footprint corners, and drape the netting over (barring the obnoxious amount of excess material), but I was thinking I was getting something a little more refined than a roll of unfitted bulk netting material. I'm replacing this with one of the other models available out there that is built more like a tent where everything is cut & fitted correctly.

This has been awesome at keeping the leaves out of my pond this fall. Easy set up. Love the extra large net to cover the stones and plants around my ponds so the leaves don’t blow under. I only gave 4 stars because it is a little on the pricey side.

It was a gift for my parents. Dad said it was a little difficult to set up, to start out with. First time setup took them the best part of the morning. It was definitely big enough to cover the pond and even some of the stream. The netting coverage is great and goes well beyond the "tent" portion which worked out awesome, because it covers the little waterfall as well. Really pleased with it. Well worth the money. Didn't give you the full 5 stars cause my dad's an engineer and said the top part could have been slightly better engineered. But here's the thing, they paid someone else to clean out the ponds this past spring. That bill was $600. So if this thing lasts a few years, it will have paid for itself. Here's to hoping the netting stands up to our Canadian winter. We have oak trees and the leaves are really bad for the pond. Plus the leaves come down all winter, with the last little bit coming down in the spring. Nice product! Thank you.

This is such a great product and we should have purchased earlier! We did purchase the 9X12, but instead of centering the net we extended on one side to cover the complete waterfall and beyond. The frame is 9X12 but the netting is way bigger which is perfect. Although the leaves have not started falling in mass yet, we have had some BIG winds and this thing has not moved. If you are on the fence...just do it..you will not be disappointed! Pretty easy to assemble and position. We did assemble with net and position before scoring the net so we could get in right position.

We used to use a pole with ropes where the net laid over the ropes. It worked pretty well but had to place the pole in the water to set up. Depending on how heavy the leaves were, the net ended up hanging into the water. This net is much easier to set up, looks nice and the net stays up off of the ground and out of the water. We're very pleased with it. Only complaint (of these in general) is that the squirrels have eaten through the net to drink out of the pond! Frustrating.

Love this product. Effectively kept leaves and feasting critters out during fall/winter in Virginia! Easy to assemble, and easily placed over my pond. I did however make a tactical mistake: I left the excess netting draped around the edges of the dome, and a few times I had to free critters who got trapped (mostly ungrateful squirrels). Also, during the last seasonal freeze, a flock of mourning doves got under the netting through the small opening at the waterfall and couldn't figure out how to get out. Everything was frozen down solidly, so the only easy way to free them without human injury was cutting some of the netting! .Could have easily been stitched back together, or new netting used, as it is not special! Purchasing new one, instead!

Purchased this netting tent for our small koi pond this past winter. Very impressed with the quality and thickness of the net. The tent framing allowed us to install the net and keep the filter and waterfall running much later than usual while keeping the fall leaves and debris out. It was easy to assemble in the back yard and carry to place/secure over the pond. Previously we had purchased bird netting every year and stretched it across the pond only to have leaves pile up and sink into the water. After reading other reviews, I decided to remove the tent poles after the leaves were finished dropping so that snow would not compromise the frame. It has held up well, even after a record 30" in one snow storm. Can't wait to shake off the net and store for next winter. No more tangled bird netting to toss in the trash.

It was everything that I hoped it would be and more The quality is good for the "ribs" as well as the mesh. The leaves of our oak, maple, and ash and even the pine needles are kept out of our little stream and pond. They just blow off or around the pond and there is no maintenance in having to remove leaves from around the pond. They simply blow into the lawn where we can more easily deal with the situation. The pond protector doesn't give way in heavy winds! A great feature is that the netting is longer on both ends so in our situation it covers up the 10 feet of stream as well as the pool at the bottom. And it looks GOOD not like the tarps we have tried in former years. This way we continue to enjoy our pond all the time. We are thrilled with it and hope it will last at least 5 years.
