The clip is a neat design and makes lure changes quick and easy without having to pinch a clip open/closed. Easier for kids to do on their own. Slim design that does not interfere with lure motion. I fish for smaller than 20 lbs and the small size is perfect for my needs.

Purchased these to make santee cooper rigs ! They work great don’t rust my friend caught a 20 pound blue cat no problems ! We did get a few snags in the stronger current and we where able to retrieve are gear we did loose the leader and hook but the quick swivel stayed on ! I’ll post more pictures next fishing trip we have been on about 4 trips but nothing over 20 pounds caught yet

I like the design, it looks like it will stay closed under a lot of stress, and it's easy to clip a big pike fly into it. I did notice that there is a plating of some sort that comes off when a couple flies have been changed. I don't think it will affect the performance.But... After using it on lots of big pike I had several failures. These are rated for 50#, my leader is 20# and the wire is 35#. One failure was the clip bending open and the fish and Fly were gone. Several other failures involved either the leader or the fly coming unclipped.I think the problem is that while casting the fly or leader moves in the clip and catches between the wires, then pulls free when the fish hits.A big help would be to have a closed loop where the leader ties in.

It’s the only thing I use on drum rigs. They are a little bit tight at first but they get easier to use after a couple times using them
