Is a really nice target I just wish it was a little bigger for training your kids to properly use a gun. You definitely wanna make sure you don’t have something behind it that it’ll ricochet off of in case they miss. I just stuck some straw bells behind it and worked great and it’s nice cause you could set it on the ground or you could put it up on a piece of square tubing for a stand

I have used Amazon since the early 2000s and have relied on user feedback to make my purchasing decisions. I have found that the Amazon community is right on. I have not, however, done my part to provide ratings to help others make their decisions. This is just one of many ratings that I have needed to provide. My strategy is to provide a numerical rating when there is not much more to say, except it worked as designed, was well made, and did not have any obvious flaws. I will provide more elaboration when needed to support a rating, good or bad. For this item, however, I think just a score will suffice.

This is smaller than I thought it would be. This item is heavier than I thought it would be. Built strong and handles my “Red Rider” BB gun like a champ. The small size just makes me take time with aiming correctly. The weight and sturdy build quality makes this an excellent product for BB and pellet guns. (As long as the power isn’t too high)

I bought this as a birthday gift for my 10 yr old son and he loves it! I put a screw in a tree out back and he has a place to hang this target anytime he wants ..just as simple to remove and put away. It works just as it should and the quality of metal it is made from is much better than I was anticipating. Great price, good quality..perfect for any pellet shooter.

Not bad but dangerous, as lead from pellets come flying out the square hole, and is taking damage to the deflect piece on the back and to the seams,,, built your own and be safe

This little BB catcher turned out to be smaller than I expected, but it packs a punch! I love how it snags every BB you fire on target – no more runaway BBs bouncing all over the place. It’s super satisfying to hear that nice report when you hit the target, too! For its size, it does a fantastic job and keeps everything neat and contained. All in all, it's a great little target trap that works exactly as promised. I’d definitely grab another one without hesitation!

I bought my 8-year-old boys some BB guns for Christmas. I thought this gizmo might help with target practice and BB retrieval. It is very sturdy (painted steel), but the target size is small...maybe 5-6" square. It has a tube on the back for mounting to a square stick (who has one of these?) and a keyhole for screwing to a fence, or something. I wouldn't want to permanently mount this anywhere in my back yard (it is unsightly and would probably rust after the first rain), so I got some wire and made a hook mount so I could remove it when we were finished. I expected the funnel to collect the BB's, but it's tapered forward, so when you take the removeable target off, all the BB's roll out, so you should have a 5 gallon bucket there to catch the rolling ammo. It was ok for target practice, but not the finest piece of jewelry I've ever purchased.Big Rudy

When sighting in my pellet gun, pellets were going through the steel at the back. Also fragments of lead pellets would ricochet back through the target. Steel is definitely not strong enough for a higher powered pellet gun, ok for a Daisy BB gun.
