I really enjoy building things out of wood including cabinets and furniture, etc. and I have assembled a pretty nice shop. I have lots of clamps, but didn't have any of these old style clamps. I watched a build video and saw the guy holding a panel of sheet goods vertical in the jaws of this clamp while clamping this clamp to the table with a conventional bar clamp or two.

I was hoping this would be the item that would help me hold my wood pieces stationary so I could sand them. Didn't really work, but it is made very well.
