Much much better than the brand I purchased last year. Produced a lot of fog and was easy to use.

Great Value, this dog machine works great. Worth every penny used it for my haunted house and loved the remote feature. Easy to operate.

Man, I really wanted this one to be great! I love the small size, the fact that it comes with a remote which you don’t have to manually pair, and the super affordable price tag didn’t hurt either! Unfortunately, the initial use has me concerned. I filled up the tank with Code Red fog juice and followed the (common sense, straightforward) set up…but within 5 seconds of plugging in the power cord, you could see wisps of what looked like either smoke or fog coming out of the vent slots and more noticeably SMELL something burning. Almost like the smell of burnt rubber tires. Hoping for the best I told myself, “you know what, maybe it’s just the burn-off of some extra adhesive they’d used in assembly….lets give it some time”. So I waited a few minutes for the little red light to come on, and fired the output for just a quick 2-3 second burst. YIKES, that same burning smell but WAY more intense. This fog juice is from a large container I bought to use with my larger fog machine, and I’ve been using it for years. So I know how it should/should not smell. And this was definitely not normal. But I reminded myself, “okay but just because it’s different from what I’m used to doesn’t necessarily mean it’s DANGEROUS” (like I said, I REALLY wanted this to work well, hence my optimism & willingness to offer more chances before I literally/figuratively pulled the plug.) I tried firing another quick burst, but nothing came out. It took another 5 minutes of warming up and emanating that acrid smell the entire time before it allowed me to fire it again. This time I wanted to get a feel for its performance regardless of the smell, so I could at least have more data to base this review on, and help decide whether I should return it or not. I let it fire for about 10 seconds this time. The smell was starting to make my eyes water and the fog itself wasn’t at all the dense cloud-like consistency I expect from any traditional stage fog machine…it was thinner. Almost more like haze or steam. Which, in terms of consistency only, could still serve my purposes (laser shows). But this thinner less dense fog also seemed ultra-heated, because it all immediately wafted up to the ceiling instead of hanging in the air the way you want it to. At that point I figured this was probably one of those “you get what you pay for” examples, and the reason it was available for under $40. Playing Devil’s Advocate, I would say it COULD be useful to someone under different circumstances…specifically if they intended to use it outdoors maybe? It’s just not worth the possibility of burning my house down.

This little machine is great. Doesn't have a timer. So only works when you press the button. But no complaints. creates a lot of smoke.

We bought this to replace our larger one from Party City that broke. This works great and pumps out enough to cover two of the old Party City fog machines. I would not want to use this indoors as it creates a ton of fog. I used it outside on a nice evening (no rain). It worked great. I brought it inside after we were done with trick or treating. Not sure the fog remote worked but it didn't need to as it went off enough to create enough fog for the trick or treaters. I would get another one for next year to have on both sides of the front lawn. But again, one produces a lot of fog. We just want to spread it out more on the front lawn. I only put the unit on a level surface, my stone porch or a stepping stone that is in my landscaping.Update - bought a second one, a year later, removed 2 stars as it won't let me do a separate review. I didn't open the box until halloween day for my party. Unfortunately, the remote attachment plug doesn't match the plug on the unit so I have to return it as it won't work. This was an issue with the manufacturer packaging the box wrong as it was sealed when I received it. Too bad - I was looking forward to using it. The unit I bought last year was still working great though.

Purchased this small fogger as my Chauvet Hurricane was in need of service. This fogger is small, compact and packs a punch. It pushes a decent amount of fog to keep my set hazy but not completely ‘fogged-in’ and the remote control that came with it worked well from 60ft away. The only downside I would say is that it does take awhile to reheat before you can blast fog again and it would be great if it had a repeat feature or timer to set intervals instead of manually triggering a spray of fog. Overall it’s a great emergency fogger when you’re in a pinch.

It did the job well, it only shoots out fog for about a minute or so then needs to warm back up but for the money you cant go wrong especially for single use scenarios!

Small, compact, and packs a big fog punch. I was quite impressed with the output of fog as well as the duration of fog blasts. It also didn't use the fog juice very quickly, do it seems to be very efficient in that respect. You do need to keep an eye on the indicator to know when the machine is ready to fog. If you don't active the fog blower, the device can get very hot and produce a smell. I used this outside for Halloween night and it worked beautifully. I didn't leave it out, but took it on a covered porch and used it as trick or treaters came to the house. The remote trigger was a nice touch so I could turn the machine on and have it automatically fog whenever it was ready. One of my favorite purchases this year.
