This means it will not compete for bandwidth with non-WiFi 6E devices. The 6 GHz band provides up to seven extra 160 MHz channels, providing more bandwidth, more flexibility, and less congestion. Es buena antena que recibe bien la señal, solo que en mi caso yo prefería quitarle las antenas, porque se me hacían estorbosas, y aun así recibía señal, claro que no la usaba para jugar en línea, solo para descargar o ver algunos videos o películas sin problema.

I purchased this card to update an older MSI AC905C wireless card that was a little out of date. Card installed easily. ASUS Canada doesn't list the card on their Canadian support site for driver downloads, however, the drivers are listed on the regular asus.com site. If you are swapping out an in use card, as I did, I would suggest you download the drivers to a USB stick or your hard drive before you install the new card in your system. The card works flawlessly and the audio lag I was experiencing while watching videos or playing games has completely disappeared. I would strongly suggest this card to others.

So. I was using a 2 antennae'd pci express network card from another company. My internet would cut out on occasion but it was relatively functional. However, I was invited to start playing videos again after a long break. Namely, Valorant. A fast paced first person shooter that requires solid internet. I did not have that with the old card. Bad experiences with the old card was: -losing connection -high ping -lag -time searching for other internet service providers -buying a 400 dollar hotspot (because I thought it was my internet) -losing discord calls -losing zoom calls -losing skype calls Okay. So it was horrible. And I thought I had to live with it. Various internet services (other wireless, satellite internet, even fiber optic) were not available, so I was stuck with what I had. When, it struck me that it could have been the network card, I downloaded and installed the newest driver. I SUPPOSE it helped, but it did not solve the issue. Enter this thing. I was actually torn between this and another model. There was a bad review on the 4 antennae model that scared me so I went with this one. It arrived quickly. Installation:-I downloaded the driver from the website (quickly found through a google search of "ASUS PCE-AC68" then going under the support tab at the Asus website.)-Shut down and unplugged my computer.-Exchanged the 2 cards (since they fit into the same slot.)-Plugged in and started my computer.-Uninstalled the old network card drivers (should have done this earlier but forgot)-Unzipped and installed the asus driver.-Restarted my computer-Logged into my wifiThat's it.=> I went from not being able to have discord and Valorant on at the same time.=> I went from needing to close every single program that used bandwidth to STILL lag badly from playing Valorant. I'm talking that I have nothing else on. And I will still jump from one spot, to another in the game. My gaming was horribly choppy, and unacceptable. The number of times I would die for pure lag is more then I can count. All this solved! No lag. I can have discord and Valorant and even youtube without any issues. It was never my internet after all! It was like magic. I'm a believer. I'm a fan. AND I'm buying another! I know someone who has had some choppy internet issues and I'm thinking I know why! Now for the bad. Did my internet speed increase? No. It's the same. Speed test was exactly the same (or at least close enough.) But what this thing DOES give is a solid and stable internet connection that you can game with! What this thing does is give a solid and stable internet connect you can STREAM with! You read it right. Streamers on Wifi. If you're having issues. Try this first!Btw. This review has not been paid for, incentivized, requested, or another of the sort. No one gave me free product, or a discount. I just found an answer to my suffering and am sharing it to the world!

I wanted to see what it would be like to wifi enable a desktop gaming computer. I got rid of long wlan cables, patched some holes in the wall and turned off intel lan adapter in my BIOS. Ever since, it feels like it's still directly connected to the router, because of the excellent pings I get in different games. Note that the screenshot was taken on an North American server while I'm living in North America. I always get about 24-32 ping which is great. Downloads are extremely quick, everything pleases me about this little pci card. This is definitely a reason to go wireless.I would say something about the software but I don't use it. It's a plug-n-play card, you install it and windows finds and updates the drivers immediately so you can get to browsing/doing whatever you do online.Foolproof, extremely quick, latency/ping is always steadily very low, so are downloads. I have a Bluetooth chip right under my antennas and there is zero interference.F***ing flawless, ASUS

I've had bad experiences with wireless setups before. Many of problems with wireless is slower internet speed, internet cutting out from time to time. Its just been a hassle. To everyone reading this, steer far away from USB adapters! I broke my brand new Netgear and decided to open it up, it has the smallest receivers inside. This Asus card is at least two to three times more powerful!I'm very pleased as I came from Netgear USB dongles that would drop connections randomly throughout the day/week. Ever since I bought this, no problems at all, not a single connection dropped! Streaming and gaming is flawless, I couldn't have asked for more. However, if you are a hard core gamer, this may not be for you, as your probably looking for a direct Ethernet connection, otherwise its fine.If you are not tech savy and can not open up your computer and install it, you may have some difficult times. However, there is nothing wrong with the product as thats how it is supposed to be. After all, its a PCI-e internet adapter.Excellent PCI Express Adapter. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I own the Asus RT-AC68W and difference is NIGHT AND DAY! I have much greater range than I used, however it does not beat a direct connection with Ethernet, however I'm very impressed. Here are the pros and cons.Pros:Easy to install if you know what your doingLights indicate that its workingSimple software install and your up and going, it took me 5 minutes to install and get the card working.Superior range and speed compared to adapters like Linkys and Netgear.Good quality, 95% of it is pure metal casing.Cons:Requires access to inside the computer. Not suitable for a non-tech savy person.Besides that, I think its an awesome card. It really does preform well over other brands.I would recommend this to anyone who is able to install this on the motherboard.
