Use these on mugs and guitar headstocks. Works well on inkjet printer then two light coats of lacquer to seal the colors before dipping. Works great

I actually had to apply 3 to 5 coats of clear and let it dry each time so that the sheet becomes thicker to use and less prone to removing the ink on the back side / take away notes is its difficult doing entire curved objects but not impossible (when water is applied to the backing its a very useful pressing and aligning tool actually and this is a tip I give to you all

After trying a couple of other water decal products which were too hard to work with I finally tried this brand and Success. Much easier to handle than others, much more forgiving when positioning on the object surface when it comes to potential tearing or crumpling up as compared to the others I've tried. Takes about 4-5 minutes to release from the backing in a plate with cold water. I believe the instructions state 3 minutes. Not quite enough in my experience with this stuff. 3-4 minutes still not bad. Maybe a bit quicker in warm water.

I have used decal paper many, many times over the years. First time using this brand and only because I needed it urgently and one of the few for 81/2 x 11 paper ones readily available. I found it to be mediocre at best. Wasted four sets because of being too thin and tendency to distort, stretch and tear. Made it work by extra application of topcoat. Cannot recommend, but if used, make several copies of what is needed (expect problems) and apply multiple coats of non-yellowing sealant and let thoroughly dry.

If you follow the instructions they go onto plastic like a dream. That being said expect to play with color settings a lot if you're doing anything other then blacks. Browns tend to bleach out and turn orange.

This waterslide paper did not disappoint. My images printed beautifully. After spaying the paper with acrylic sealer and letting it thoroughly dry, I applied the images to my mug without any difficulty. I will buy again.

First time using this kind of decals, and it worked perfect. Had only one hiccup with it, but it was my mistake. One thing that one must be aware is, that once you spray the clear coat ensure you use the decal within an hour or two 😉, do not let it dry overnight. I made that mistake and it got ruined 😕. The clear coat had cured and when submerging the decal in the water, the image cracked (lines appeared). As for how long it will last. Can't tell as they were for Christmas presents. Will update if anything changes

Wow! I make resin products- keychains, ornaments, etc. My friend showed me how to use waterslide paper, and it was perfect for putting a picture on my creations. I purchased this brand, and couldn't be happier. It prints up nicely with my home inkjet printer. I just sprayed it with acrylic spray to seal it (a couple times), let it dry, then cut out the picture, soaked in water for about 30 secs, and slide it off the paper backing and onto my ornament, keychain, or whatever (she does cups). AMAZING!!

This was my first time using this kind of decal and I found them to be pretty easy to use and effective. I followed the instructions and all of my projects turned out perfectly. Print quality was good and I had no issues with the ink drying.I bought this because my kids love Bluey (the animated show from Australia) so I wanted to make them some wooden Bluey coasters. I bought some 1/2 inch thick poplar stock from HD, cut it into 3.5 inch squares and sanded them smooth. I added a coat of acrylic clear and let that dry, then lightly sanded it so that the water would not raise the grain of the wood. I followed the instructions for these decals and printed them out on my Canon inkjet printer. I let them dry for about 10 minutes and then took the sheets outside and sprayed them with acrylic clear coat twice, with a few minutes between coats, as the can said. I did it again the next day for a total of 4 coats. I cut them out and the submerged one in filtered cool water. While it was submerged, I wiped a coaster with a bit of water. After 20-30 seconds, I took the decal out and placed it on the coaster and gently slid the decal off the paper a bit, then I grabbed the paper backing and slid it out while I held the decal in place. I adjusted it a bit and then smoothed it out and dabbed it lightly with a clean towel. I checked for bubbles and smoothed more with wet fingers, then I dried them again with a towel and let the whole thing dry overnight. The next day, I sprayed 2 coats of acrylic clear coat and the same again a day later. Then I added thin felt pads to the back to let them slide on the table. So far, they have held up well. The decals still look good and they aren't coming off. I did mess up one because I put on too thick a coat of acrylic by accident and it made the decal peel. One coaster was left with water on it overnight and there was no problem the next day when I wiped it off. Good coats of sealer are essential to seal the ink and the coaster, then the whole process seems to go well consistently. I had one or two decals in my second batch that ripped that were entirely my fault. You have to be gentle and I pulled too hard when repositioning the decal. For sure I will buy these again. They are great for small projects for personal use.
