So I’m not sure what’s going on here, but if you look in the image half of the entire image circle is completely blocked. There’s no way to adjust the mirror to compensate for this. When I hooked up my guide scope and I focused the telescope I could not see any stars. I couldn’t even get stars that were out of focus, it was as if there was a black bag over the camera. I tested that there was some light transmission by putting my iPad in front of the telescope and I could see some light, but I never saw any light coming from the stars. Useless.

This device/lense is a problem solver. If you are getting eggs instead of stars in your pics this should help you keep your focus star/object centered during exposure. CHECK YOUR SIZES FIRST to ensure you do kot need an adapter ring for your telescope or camera. Like I have to. Lol.

excelente, algo pesado pero para una buena montura como mi AZ funciona. el cristal es algo fijo , sigo experimentando con el para ver como lo puedo mover, pero tal parece que en la posición que trae es la exacta para poner la camara de captura sin obstruirla

Feels like it was made well and probably would have been a great OAG had the prism not fallen out before I received it.

Won't work with Celestron C6 with F/.63 reducer. There is zero prism adjustment even though it says there is prism tilt adjustment. The mirror is glued to a frame that has no ability to be tilted much less be raised or lowered. Returning.

I have used other OAGs and this one excels because of the ability to get the guiding camera in focus once the imaging camera is focused. There are screws so that a guide camera such as the QHY5L can be position along its length, then the built-in helical focuser is used for fine adjustment. Beats buying a variety of skinny spacers and hour of fiddling! Sturdy and solid construction. I use it with 70mm and 127mm APOs with great success. Handles reducers and flatteners well.
