The AstroAI Closed Flow Air Chuck fits most inflators, but is designed specifically for use with AstroAI tire inflator gauges. The brass chuck design inflates tires easily, even on heavy-duty work vehicles thanks to a 250 PSI maximum pressure rating.

**UPDATE**Seller was concerned one chuck was not performing optimally and was very good about supporting their product. Now my egg-washer does not hiss annoyingly.The chucks are very solidly made and certainly helpful for when you don't want or can't hold a chuck on a tire valve.I bought these to use on a double-barrelled egg washer I built. Basically about 20 lbs of air bubbles through a pail of water in which a wire basket of eggs sits in.A "Y" of air hose with these snap-on air chucks work great for starting a wash, disconnecting when finished, and emptying the bucket of water.However getting them to not hiss ( lose air) has become a challenge, and one of them will only stop if I stand there and press it hard onto the valve-stem. Not exactly my plan.So... these are ok, but not great.

I have multiple tractors and farm equipment and a lot of tires that are always needing air. These air chucks are some of the best I've found. They grip tight and stay where you put them. They are very well built and hold up to everyday use. I use the on the hose reels in my shop, barn and on a portable compressor I use in the field. The only time I've had to replace one is if I lose one. Great product and I highly recommend them.

Saved a couple bucks replacing a good tire inflator ...just replaced this closed air chuck.The over chuck ended up being bad....popped this guy on and all good.No leaks, works well so far so good!

I bought these over a year ago and just got around to installing them. I was just about to give up on them when I decided to read the reviews and found a review that discussed my specific problem. The rubber washer inside is too restrictive, and when you mount the truck at the end of your hose, it ends up being squished and completely obstruct the airflow. After taking a closer look at it, I decided to pull out my Swiss army knife and essentially cut this washer in half as you can see on the photo. The opening is now much bigger, and the airflow actually unobstructed. I’m going to leave three stars because once I did this modification, the trucks work as they are supposed to meaning that they are normally closed until you put them on the valves which is what I needed in my tire inflation system. However, this is a major defect from the manufacturing or lack of attention to details. They source those rubber washers from a third-party, who my guess is assembles the entire chuck and ships them. The end result is a defective problem which if you’re not like me and scour the reviews, you will end up returning the item. I hope this helps.UPDATE: To my surprise the manufacturer / distributor did contact me to make up for the short comings. I did not expect to hear from them, especially after close to 6 months but they did. It shows a genuine interest in making sure the customers are made whole which I really like. I will move my rating to 4 stars because at the end, the product was deficient and I would imagine if this is left uncured, it will create a lot of returns.

After having my old, new chuck fall apart on me in front of my eyes, I decided it was time for a more robust air chuck. These looked like they would fit the bill and I was not disappointed... well I wasn't disappointed after I replaced the small hose off the gauge of the old chuck with a new one that would fit this chuck.Easy to use and can take a lot of abuse being dragged all over the shop.

These feel nice and solid. The brass body looks like it will hold up well. The steel (?) levers work fine out of the box, but I worry about corrosion - time will tell. These are very simple to attach to the valve stem and they seem to lock on well. But... they leak. Not all the time but with random jiggling/movement of the lever mechanism, they'll start hissing. Operating the clamp lever seems to stop it reliably, but every time you shift your hose(s) around or move connections, you may get a leak again, so you're always having to check your connections. They can leak both on and off the valve stem as well. While you can fiddle with it to stop the leak each time, I did already have a instance where I didn't notice it at first and left a hose connected and my properly pressurized tire dipped a couple psi before I noticed. These will get the job done and the price is right, but I'd pay double for a good chuck that never leaked. I'm going to try another brand as a replacement.
