Save your money and but from a reputable manufacturer. Bought this ratchet and at first it was great. Then it started to lock up and wouldn't ratchet. Had to hit it on the ground to free it. Filed a warranty claim and got a replacement. That one did the same thing during the first use. Ended up getting a name brand.

I like the length of the ratchet and the price/ quality. The gears teeth is fine enough for tight spaces.

This ratchet is nice to add to the tool box. My son has been using it alot. Great flex handle to let you know you need another tool before this one breaks. Chrome is nice and functions great.

This is smaller than you imagine, it can get in some tight spots

This is great for teaching into tight spaces. The ratchet head is miniscule and the fine tooth mechanism seems well up to the job.

Don’t know how it will hold up to tasks…but definitely a quality ratchet for the price and for sure the most compact head I ever saw!

Words don't really do the size justice, so see the attached comparison photo. Top is the 3/8 in 1/4 long nano ratchet, 2nd is this 1/4 ratchet, bottom 2 are standard 1/4 and 3/8 ratchets. The head of this ratchet is barely wider than a 12mm 1/4 chrome socket (top one), and about the same size as a 10mm 3/8. The head is retained with a recessed snap ring without lug holes. While probably technically serviceable, it's a whole different level from normal ratchet heads.Dimensions: 18.5mm wide head, 10mm thick, with 1-2mm for the quick release button and reverse switch. 20mm thick including the anvil and QR button.Like a lot of reviews mention, the ratcheting mechanism tends to lock up slightly with even low torque, maybe 5-10 ft-lbs. Dumping super lube (very light, clear oil) in the top until brown liquid came out the bottom improved it significantly; I think it's a combination of tolerances and poor factory lubrication. The anvil has quite a bit of play for the overall size, so I think some level of binding is inevitable, but replacing the factory oil means it doesn't lock up nearly as badly. This series of ratchets has noticeable backdrag. Not a stupid amount, you can find far worse - especially at this price point. However, if you're comparing to options triple the price, or generally hate backdrag, you will likely be disappointed. In my opinion, if there's one thing to be done to improve this ratchet, it would be to drop the quick release feature. It results in a very poorly sealed ratchet head, and seems to be a lot of the reason for downright sloppy tolerances.
