I was hoping you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference unless you touched it, but it is not as nice looking as tile. And it may crumble if you have to make a cut that leaves a small (less than 1/2 of the length) piece. Overall it worked.

I bought these peel & stick for a remodelin a vacation rental. They look great. I had a friend put them up & he said the tile was fairly easy to put up. I actually bought some from the big stores but they didn’t have the edging material with them which seemed odd so I returned them.

We were updating out 1956 kitchen by ourselves. New cabinets, gas range, etc. We got rid of our tile backsplash due to being unable to find repair tiles for several cracked and missing tiles. We found these tiles at Lowe's, and purchased all they had on display. Very pleased to find the exact same brand and design here on Amazon that allowed us to finish our project in a timely manner.Simple to install, easy-ish to cut to size or around outlets with a utility knife and new blade. The metal accents were a tad more difficult to cut. Easy to score with the blade then snap with a pair of needle nose pliers. We found that simple spackle or similar paste works well to hide any small gaps that might occur between the self-adhesive tiles to get a more homogenous look. We would buy these again if needed.

My backsplash was just a beige paint so for a few hundred dollars I was able to transform the look of my small kitchen into a nicer one. Should of done it years ago. If you have a small or regular table saw or/and a straight tin snip, the work will go better. The tile looks and feel some what like real tile and I'm glade I gave it a try.One caution I advise is to be sure to dry fit the tile before taking the paper off and sticking on the wall. Once any part of the sticky tile's back touches the wall it's not coming off. So line it up before sticking.I would do it again or help some one with the project.

We ordered 2 kits of tile and unlike some others commented, we had 0 pieces (that we opened) that were difficult to peel the backing off. Cutting pieces was easily done with a utility knife (needed a few times being scoured to break nice). We did use tin snips a few times and that seemed to result in a little rougher cut and sometimes some breaks in the tiling we didn't expect. The pieces were very sticky and adhered very well to the wall (washed with warm water prior to install). Overall, we were extremely happy with the look, the installation, and performance (so far) of the tiling. Also, one more thing to note, we had purchased a tile sheet from Home Depot prior to picking these kits up and there was a slight difference in color and size between the two! Both were the same product but definitely a little difference between the two sources. Both kits we ordered off Amazon were the same size and colors and would recommend not relying on buying single sheets from Home Depot or somewhere else.

My only problem was that 1 package (10 pieces) was so difficult to peel the backing from that I couldn't use them. At first I thought it was me so I opened that next box and they were fine. Fortunately I was able to modify how much area to cover and was able to finish the project. Also, the trim pieces are brown, which doesn't match anything.

The application was pretty easy but be careful! Once you put it in place, it is staying there! You can't move it around. The adhesive is NOT fooling around. We did some cuts with the miter saw and that worked well. While it says it doesn't need to be grouted, most likely, you will need to smear some grout over it to fill in the gaps. No walls are perfectly straight and level.
