These are small but very absorbing. Will definitely try them again

I haven’t tried them myself, perhaps the next time I have some beer. But it absorbs Foo-Foo’s secretions just fine.

To those who say the liquid just runs right off definately have to be putting them down upside down, the right side is just a slight bit darker but there is a difference. These pads do work well when used right

I have never given a negative review on any Amazon product before even when there were small issues with the product. After using the first one today I did not want another person to waste this much money on a product that was so misrepresented as this one was. This is the worst training pad I have ever used. After opening the package I knew as soon as I took one out it would not work. Product states there are 6 layers with gel to stop any leakage or tracking. There is one layer as thin as a cheap paper napkin and no gel layer that I could find. My 6 lb. cat peed for the first time in the middle of the pad while I was standing there. I checked underneath and my tile floor was soaked with urine. I would have taken a picture but my immediate reaction was to throw the pad away and get all that urine off my tile grout as soon as possible. Now that I have opened the product I cannot send it back and I am stuck either placing six on top of each other to give the 6 layer protection it states these give or throwing 99 of them away. I am very disappointed in Amazon for giving this product an Amazon Choice seal and with the ASPCA for putting their name on this product. I donate to the ASPCA all the time but will never again donate any money to them after this. Best Friends Society and the Humane Society will be getting all my donations going forward!

I purchased these because the description gave the impression that the pads had several layers of absorbent material and it was an opportunity to support a worthy cause. These are no match for our 2 lb puppy; so I'm glad they are simply lining her potty tray instead of damaging our floor. I started folding them over in hopes that it would increase the absorbancy and the urine still goes through.Updated to add: Although I will never purchase these again because they leak, I must add that the reviews that mention the urine sitting on top in puddles were placing the pad on the wrong side. Because there is only a slight difference between the front and back of the pad, you must look closely to make sure that you don't have it with the smoother side up.

Living on top floor in apt building makes hard to take our 10yr chug out to potty some days. We use the ASPCA XL 28"X30" size pads w/gray colored edges, but we cut them in half by hand and use them staggered on top a secondary, smaller carpeted area.As all ya'll animal lovers/owners understand- each dog or other animal has its quirks and our chuggie like to squat in such goofy ways on her emergency pads, we began placing one cut, xl pad, in odd-diagonal-overlaping ways. It works for her habits & works for us.By cutting these XL's "hamburger" width we can arrange the pads easier & we save more money this way...simply use your home/office/craft/reg kitchen scissors[FYI, ya'll can sharpern scissors by cutting a piece of foil multiple times; you'll never need to buy new scissors again!].ASPCA XL (or regular size) really do absorb as they claim! However, and as it remains true for most pads...if the edge(s) are stepped on...that will cause, any amount of liquid flow to drain off. That is "our issue" some times, but is NOT a problem of ASPCA pad brands'!(PS- friendly note: the more time your animal waits to potty, it should be obvious-the more flow build up, the faster, & more abundant the amount of flow will begin to rush off the pads(in our experience) during use. Remember, just like us hoooomans, when their is a lot of liquid to release, the pads can only absorb sooooo much/so many ounces per pressure/flow release at any one use! Just wanna help some users understand why absortion seems to work better this use or that use.) Thanks!! :)

These are truly absorbent. I had bought some from a different brand and they tended to leak the pee from underneath; these don't do that.To use them for the whole life of my dog would be an ecological crime, but these are life savers for puppy training.

This is the best I have found for the $ and better than most period. It’s identical from what I can tell to the amazon basics ones but cheaper ! just the colour of the plastic is differentI can’t smell any citrus scent which is fine with me as I find scented pads usually have a chemical unpleasant smell. My dog is 5 lbs. and these pads are more than she needs for absorbency.
