Grading Training

- Blue - Leveal 2 : Need 35 KG breaking power; For beginners; Easy to break; Blue Belt and the advanced
- Red - Leveal 3 : Need 60 KG breaking power; For the trained and adults; Hard to break; Red Belt and the advanced
- Black - Leveal 4: Need 110 KG breaking power; For the professionals and adults; Hard to break; Black Belt and the advanced
How to Break the Boards with Your Hands
- Secure the taekwondo board so that it doesn’t move. To prevent any hand injuries, make your board to stay still before you go to break it. Either, have someone hold the board steadily with 2 hands
- To make sure you’re not too close or too far away, check to see if you have a good distance between you and the karate board.Make sure your hand is aimed at the center of the board.
- Use a palm heel strike for your first board break. When using a palm heel strike, tilt your wrist back so that the heel of your palm is out and hold your fingers up to keep them out of the way.
- Opt for a straight punch to break the board with your knuckles. You’ll need to line up your wrist and use the right knuckles. When creating a fist, your palm should be facing downwards. If you bend your wrist inwards too far or strike using just your outer knuckles, you’ll end up injuring your hand.
( Note: Don't keep your thumb in the middle of your palm. Place it on the outside of your hand to avoid breaking or injuring it.)

Wer will schon immer Geld für Holzbretter ausgeben, die man dann nur noch verbrennen kann?!Das Board kann man mehrmals benutzen.Anfangs ist es für ein Kind mit Grüngurt noch relativ schwer, aber nach 5-6x klappt es dann ganz gut.Es leiert zwar mit der Zeit leider etwas aus und wird immer einfacher, aber die Technik zählt und nicht das reine zerschlagen. Letztlich haben wir sicher um die 100 Bruchtests geübt und dafür hätte ich wohl sehr viel mehr für Holz ausgeben müssen.

Whoever glued the material onto the board......was drunk? One side folds over and the other side is just as messed up. This does not affect the breaking of the board. However, poor workmanship.

My 4 year old son loves Taekwondo and has been in it for 9 months already. He has only been able to break this board once while kicking it. He has the yellow board, which is pretty easy for him but he still loves to practice with the blue board. I know he will grow into the blue board and his master thought it was a good investment. My son is determined to get a black belt, it's all he talks about, he wants to be just like the Ninja Kids.

I bought this for my 4’8” hundred pound 9 year old son. I bought the blue cause I was worried the kids would be too easy for him since he is so big. I should have went with the kids. This is nice. I like how it goes back together. It takes a couple of tries to get it back together sometimes. This one is super hard to break. I had to break it over and over before it loosened up a little for him. He was having trouble with his step behind side kick and this helped him master it. Helped him learn to aim for the middle.

These boards are great practice for my 7 year old who takes karate. They were EXTREMELY difficult to break (even for an adult!) the first few times, but after a few breaks, they loosened up and break normally now.

When we first received them I noticed some minor quality issues with the attachment of the soft padding to the hard plastic body, but I figured if they worked that didn't really matter.The board became progressively easier with every break and after maybe a dozen breaks was too easy to provide a useful training tool for my 8 year old son. I realize these kinds of boards get weaker with use but at this rate we'd have to buy a new one every week.
