The wiring harness and antenna adapter were good. The Din adapter does not fit. The removal tool is cheap and flimsy.Would not purchase. Better to buy the necessary pieces separately. With all projects, nothing worse than wasting time reordering another piece.

Everything in this kit works very good. Except for the hooks that take out the original stereo. They did not work. I have used this kit for 2 different cars and both original stereos came out hard . I had to rip them apart to get them out . Totally destroyed the original stereos.

Fit perfectly. The wiring harness and dash kit were easy to install. The stock stereo removal tool was great!! Highly recommend.

Used this to install a cheap bluetooth media player in my daughter's Beetle. The kit went in easy and looks good.

Was easy to install... After some modifications... Highly recommend having a dremal or something similar... Otherwise pretty good. The wiring harness is pretty straight forward. Pay close attention to the writing on each wire. Only problem I found is the size of the harness. There is very little room in the dash, I had to cut out a section so that it would all fit

The wiring harness and antenna hardware was easy install and worked great. The mounting kit for the stereo head unit was another thing all together. The VW “new beetle” has very limited space in the dash for a stereo and I had to do a lot of sanding on the kit pieces to get them to fit right. The molded pieces of the kit didn’t fit the rounded shape of the sides of the opening in the dash AT ALL. They were way too big. Then the whole piece was too tall as well and had to be sanded down to the right height. In the end I was able to get it to work but it it took a lot of fiddling and it still doesn’t fit quite right. Next time I’ll spend the extra money to buy a better kit.

This kit is a must for replacing the junk OE Monsoon radio in your New Beetle. The blades that you use to remove the OE radio are a little flimsy, but they do work. Wear gloves when you put your fingers in the rings, or risk getting cut. Common sense really.
