I usually get a mirror and scraper tool set at a local b&m store for basic cleaning needs. The scrapers and the mirror seem to be higher quality than the ones I get at local stores although they are on the lighter side rather than heavy-duty feel. I won't be using the tweezers but the scraper and mirror set are good for basic cleaning needs at home.

You do not need to be a dental professional, to recognize quality instruments. This set is not among them. It is a good lightweight set for home use, but I'd be skeptical to continue the procedure if I saw in on a dental instrument table. If you starting a dental practice and need an in expensive set of instruments, this set will do, just keep in mind that there are quality issues, for example, the tweezers are not aligned and not finished/polished well at the work end, the mirror is a bit off-centered, and the pick is a bit too springy.

Not being a professional, but these items work so well to clean teeth when flossing and brushing doesn’t quite finish the job. My teeth are not crowded, but close.
