I've pretty much ran out of places to use these. I have most of my home covered with faux ivy. They're great for covering mistakes or damage to your home temporarily. They buy you some time until you can fix the problem. Or long term, they are great for casting some privacy on a fence that's more transparent than you'd like. However, when used outdoors, these don't have much of a life span due to the elements. Maybe a year. They may be listed as UV-resistant, fire-proof, waterproof, weather-resistant, non-fading or non-falling off, or age-resistant for 5 years, and odorless. Sorry no!1.Nothing made of Polyethylene is safe from the sun. It's a fact. PE Is not naturally resistant to UV rays. π2. Fireproof? No, not even fire "resistant", unless the laws of nature, science and physics have been changed, PE is highly flammable.π₯3. Waterproof? Sure. Why not? as long as it's not super-heated water or hard water.π‘οΈπ§4. Resisting age for five years, fading or detaching? Not outdoors no way! Indoors they're good forever. Maybe requiring monthly dusting. πβΎοΈ5. Odorless? It's a trivial amount of odor you will have to put up with if you keep these indoors. Thankfully the plastic smell fades away completely in less than a week.π·ποΈ This is all based on my experience with faux ivy privacy roll up leaves that are all made of Polyethylene of which most of them I still have. This particular brand from amazon I have half of these hooked into on my screen door because it's completely dilapidated and these leaves hide it so well the property manager hasn't even noticed the damage. Great ventilation too because they're not too thick but just enough to keep the bugs out. Also, I added some on the main faux wood door (it's styrofoam, not wood) covering up some tacky orange faux stained glass (it's plastic, not stained glass) from the 1980s. Super easy to just cut out a piece and hang it over the offensive area. I have many offensive areas in my home. I use this product a lot. You wouldn't believe. You can literally install these anywhere but if you want to enjoy them forever, refrain from placing them in direct sunlight. Not only will they fade but they will slowly but gradually break off and end up scattered everywhere and that's a lot of leaves to pick up. 1500 I think over 5 years? Not much value in that

This artificial Ivy privacy screen has great potential. Unfortunately, the one I received has several joints (that hold the different panels together) that are loose and keep coming apart. This makes it impossible to use as a continuous "sheet" which is what is advertised and also what I need. I will update this review if needed based on further experience.

I originally ordered this to use as a privacy screen for my front porch but ended up on another project. We had to get another well dug on our property (.32ac) and only place they could drill the new well was up front close to the road which I did not care for so having this on hand I created a box enclosure made from pallets to go around new well and stapled this screen wrapped around the well box and added a galvanized roof, for safety added pool noodles from the Dollar Tree so no one walking around well would get cut from the roof. By the time I got finished it looked like a Tiki Bar. So now folks walking in our neighborhood that stops by has a stool to sit on and talk a spell. Delivery drivers like it when we set up snacks and cold beverages for them and no one even remembers a well was just drilled there.

I used this leafy privacy screen along one side of a screened-in room back room where our hot tub sits. Used to have an outdoor curtain there, but this is a huge upgrade as it adds privacy and also gives you the feeling of being in a jungle when you're relaxing in the hot tub.I was impressed with the privacy aspect- the leaves are large and full and it isn't easy to see through it or see the backing. It is a nice rich green, but was a little uniform and monochromatic for me so I got some additional artificial branches with a variety of leaf shapes and colors to tuck in here and there (attached with zip ties) and it really made a big difference. Vines would look nice as well.I've seen some of these screens before which had smaller leaves which left it thin and cheap looking, but that's not the case with this one.During the installation process (which was easy with zip ties) only a few leaves fell off.I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars just because I felt the need to add different colored/shaped leaves to it or else it was too uniform, but totally recommend it.

Up close, it doesn't look realistic. The leaves are flat and two sided. They have a pointed piece of plastic sticking out of the front of each of them. It is very green, and the zip ties that come with it are green, so at least those blend in. There are enough leaves to cover them up as well. The other thing I don't like about it is that it is one sided. The other side doesn't look bad, but it does have all the plastic net lines on the back. I used this to cover up a fence gate that wasn't properly shutting along with some very large zip ties so that my dogs wouldn't escape out of the fence. It does the job and paired with the very large zip ties holding it, she won't be able to get through. It was also a little short for my chain link fence. I had it up off the ground a bit so that it reached the top, but she tried sticking her head under it even with only that space, so I had to layer another one on top but lower. She doesn't bother with it now, but it's a bit of a nuisance that not only would I need to cover the back of my chainlink fence for it to be pretty on both sides, but that I'd have to cut some into strips to get full top to bottom coverage. So, it is useable, and I suppose it looks better than just green hardware cloth, but not by much. I definitely won't be buying more of this to finish the fence.
