I have looked for months for a storage like this that a friend had purchased in a needlepoint store years ago. Hers was metal and the inside separation lid was clear plastic. This one was the closest to matching it. It is a clever design with the middle lid to separate each side. However, i don't think the plastic clasps will last. Wish the manufacturer would take into consideration that those who use these, need it to been secure and sturdy when it comes to clasps. The numerous times you open and close these containers need to be considered. But it will be used until it no longer works! I would pay a little more for a better quality likeness!

I've used this brand for years. Sturdy and reliable. And most importantly roomy. I bought it for this year's inktober and it holds pencils, erasers, and pens. I have cats who love knocking things over and the case is sturdy.

Perfect size and works great for graphite. I’ve used this for years and recently bought a replacement because I lost my original.

I have used Artbin products before. Good quality, has worked well. I like the rubber pad which keeps sharpened pencil tips from breaking against plastic when I load it in my pack. Plenty of room.

I've had one of these for 20 years for my art supplies. It does a great job and keeping my pencils, charcoals, erasers, and other tools separate from eachother. I'm so glad they still make these because i was able to get one for my neice who will be entering high school and has gotten really into drawing. Highly recommend this product.

These Art-Bin double-sided boxes are an organizer's dream. I used one of these through college to tote around all the miscellaneous pencils, erasers, charcoals, and other gear that was required for my drawing classes. It kept everything neat, organized, and most importantly, kept my hands and non-charcoal gear from getting coated in a layer of god-awful charcoal dust. There are foam bumpers in the pencil cubbies to protect your leads from getting snapped as the pencils slide forwards and backwards in the box. I kept those compartments full to keep the pencils from going side to side, as well. You do have to be careful about opening one side of the box first and not spilling your gear all over the floor, but you get the hang of it quickly. It's really a great, sturdy item that I buy for other people and will probably buy for myself again. They would also be great for any other sort of precision tools of a small stature, not just art materials. All in all, an amazing invention for a student who needs to carry supplies across campus. It would easily fit in a purse or a portfolio bag with its slim profile.

La calidad es mala. El plastico se ve corriente y cuesta trabajo abrir los dos compartimentos. Solo caben lápices en la parte superior porque los espacios son pequeños y angostos.

Cheap and poorly made. The latch doesn't line up right and is difficult to open. Mine arrived broken, but I would have sent it back for a refund anyway. Bad quality.

I was looking for an art utility box to replace my pencil/make-up bag that I shove all my pens and pencils and markers into with no organization whatsoever. I'm not sure what I was looking for, but the ArtBin Sketch Pack does a decent job. I can carry more than just my writing instruments, now. I've put a stack of Art Cards in one of the sections, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and it still holds all my pens and pencils. The latch for the top is secure, so you don't risk dumping all your stuff all over the floor when you open it, which was one of my concerns. Just be sure to keep lower profile stuff in the top part (pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, thumb tacks, rubber bands, paper clips, etc.) so the little door closes all the way. The hinges and latches are all plastic, so I imagine over time with a lot of use, they will wear out, but nothing is built to last forever these days. Still, it seems put together pretty well and I've never been completely unsatisfied with an ArtBin product.
