Audio quality itself is good. About what you’d expect for the price. As other reviews note, the gears spin rather loudly. Tried opening it up and greasing them as other reviewers mentioned, and now they don’t spin freely anymore and the tape gets rejected from the deck in my car. I’m sure it’s user error, but I’m pretty handy with fixing stuff, so ymmv with greasing gears as a fair warning.EDIT: the gears spin freely once i removed the grease from the gear with the bumper (top left in the tape) but the deck gets confused and continually rewinds and fast forwards, and still spits the tape deck out. I would advise against greasing the gears, and either get used to the noise they make (if the music is loud enough it’s not that bad) or buy a more expensive model that doesn’t have this issue. My tape no longer works after opening it, but I can’t blame that on the product as it isn’t really intended to be opened anyways.

I’m really impressed with the technology available to us today. This Bluetooth tape player is so freaking awesome. I imagine some of the reviews that are not so great or because the person that’s using. It is using it in a crappy car. Sorry, but that’s my feeling. It works great in my 2004 Audi. Makes me feel alive in the car and makes me enjoy my drives.

it works exactly as you think it should and it sounds good too! I was very pleased at how easy it was to connect to my phone and without any drama it connected and started playing and worked continously for our 8 hour trip (audio book streaming)

I like this product a lot. Easy to pair with my iPhone, works well. I use it with the Sirius app to have satellite radio in my "vintage" car, but you can of course also use it for maps, podcasts, etc. I have read other reviews that comment on the sound quality.....I am most definitely not an audiophile, but I think it sounds fine.

Continuously ejects in my car when other cassette tapes work just fine in my car. Fortunately this product works in our other vehicle but there must be certain cassette decks that this product does not work with. I can find no information on why this may be.

I tried this as-is and it worked great...but it was VERY noisy. Not sure why the company makes it this way when it would be so simple to fix during production.Anyhow, here's how I fixed mine and how I got there.- Other reviews recommended removing all gears. I tried that and my cassette deck spit the bluetooth tape back out. Did not work.- Other reviews suggest to just remove the three small gears. I tried that, lubed the remaining gears and my cassette deck spit the bluetooth tape back out. Did not work.- I put all the gears back in, lubed them all well with Precision Lithium grease (non-conductive type) and tried that. The tape player did not reject the tape and my music started playing. Success! It was MUCH quieter this way as well.My advice: Keep all the gears in for maximum compatibility but lube all the gears (and the posts the gears are on and under the gears themselves) and everything will work as it should and it'll be virtually silent (all you will hear is the motor on your cassette deck whirring).Just take extra care when you remove the 6 screws and "pop" the halves open. My gears all flew off but fortunately I was able to figure out how to put them back together. Use the pics some folks have provided here for guidance.The lube I used was DeoxIT lithium grease. It's good stuff and it is plastic safe (the gears are plastic).And about the "bad audio" claims. This is a function of how dirty your tape head is and how well it is aligned. The audio sounds great when both are taken care of. So take the "bad audio" reviews with a grain of salt.

I accidentally ordered two but the first wouldn't connect. Aside from that, no issues. Heard that a con of most casette adapters is that they fail quickly due to the pressure pad wearing out or losing contact, but this is going on 10 months without any issues. I charge weekly as a habit, but it can last over 8 hours. If you aren't paying attention to the light indicating low battery, you'll also know you're running low as the audio cuts out for a moment, but it'll still have a bit of juice.

I researched this type of product for weeks. So many good to bad reviews. Finally, I decided to take a chance on this one and I am beyond being satisfied. Alas, I can hear crisp highs and great midrange. Bass can be overwhelming and distorted at times. It's a rare occurrence and has happened only once in the four days I've been using it. I solved that problem with a different setting on the equalizer on my iPhone 14 plus. I can barely hear the sound of the unnecessary components inside and only if I'm idling and the world around me is quiet. I don't know how long it will last but I'd definitely buy another one to replace it. It sounds just as great as the cd player in my 2001 Nissan Frontier. One big plus...pairing was as easy as it can get. I highly recommend this product.

Es un buen producto, se conecta rápidamente, tiene buena calidad de sonido, lo único malo es que cuando se apaga, (luego de ciertos segundos de inactividad), es necesario sacarlo y volver a encender con el botón y aunque dura mucho la pila, es necesario sacarlo para carga, no se puede usar mientras se está cargando.Puedes usarlo por ambos lados, volteando el dispositivo. Lo mejor es que no requieres cambiar nada, puedes conservar tu estéreo original y escuchar cualquier dispositivo.

Bought this for use in an older model RV in hope of being able to stream Spotify through the cassette deck. It works perfectly. It was very easy to connect through Bluetooth and the sound quality is surprising.

Works just as it should. Decent sound quality, just remember to clean the contact point before the first use, otherwise the sound comes out a little wonky
