This was a complete waste of $1700. I'm so upset. First it came scratched and dented which is fine whatever that's shipping. As I'm assembling this. Nothing fits. The cam holes aren't completely drilled out and I had to do it myself. One of the arms snapped off just taking it out of the box to assemble. Huge waste of $1700. I have a bunch of broken wood and my sewing machine is so sad.

I purchased this cabinet for a baby lock jazz 2 sewing machine. I measured my machine to make sure it should fit according to what I measured it should have. It does not fit. When the package arrived it was scratched and had a few dents or mars in it from being dropped or something which would not been a problem if my machine would have fit. Also when I first received the packages there were four of them I only received three. I had to wait an extra four days for the fourth package to arrive after I requested it. At this point in time I am very dissatisfied with this cabinet. I wish I could return it. The Company I purchased it through states I have to pay for shipping to have it sent back to them or they’re going to deduct it out of my cost. They will replace the damaged panels except when I put it together it stated to glue the towels in so it’s glued together.

Quite expensive. Very difficult to put together. Directions not clear and illustrations hard to interpret.Nice handy cabinet. Room for everything, wheels especially handy.

As far as quality and design go, I'd actually give this five stars. It's incredibly clever and the work surface is HUGE.I'm not, though. I'm giving it three. Why?Because the instructions are absolutely horrendous:1. The construction video to which you are referred is for a different model, so it doesn't help.2. There were two sets of instructions included, with no marking whatsoever to let you know which was the current one. And both have errors.3. Instead of having one construction step with bullet pointed details per page with a large, easy-to-read diagram, there will be as many as four or five different construction steps with diagrams that are so tiny, they're basically illegible.4. The instructions are contradictory and, in some cases, just wrong.5. Parts are mislabeledIf you were to assemble this using clear instructions, you can plan on spending two hours on it. It's not difficult... there's just a LOT to do. With these instructions, plan on spending at least five hours.I generally enjoy building things. I've built a lot of furniture of this type as well as my own woodworking and other projects. This build could have been fun, but the poor instructions made it tedious and frustrating. One of the diagrams was unclear as to how to install one of the panels, so with a 50/50 chance I installed it the wrong way (of course - LOL). I've contacted customer service to see about getting a replacement panel (at my own expense) and have yet to hear back and it's been about a month.Hopefully, I'll hear from them.

We purchased this product after doing quite a bit of internet research of various products. Cabinet came in three boxes that were very well protected. My wife and I are very experienced wood workers and have built more than a dozen complex kits together. We STRONGLY suggest that no matter what your experience level building kits, you need to follow the following process:1.) Read BOTH (old and revised) sets of instructions, because each set has their own flaws, but together they cover a majority of the sticky areas of building the kit.2.) Take every part out of the boxes, and do a complete inventory of every screw, fastener, etc., and then remove parts and pieces from bags and place each series of parts in a separate, clearly labeled, plastic cup (those small plastic drinking cups are perfect), and then label each cup as to the size of the parts (e.g., 57mm screws).3.) Use the video Kangaroo provides on You Tube as well as the instructions. The video is, for the most part, clear and concise. If it is not clear which way a part goes onto another part, freeze the video and arrange your parts just the same as the gentleman in the video. For particle board covered in veneer, the final product looks very nice, is nice and stable, and works very well so far. My wife noticed the thread spool spindles were mission from the kit after we built it, and has contacted the manufacturer to obtain them. We were, however, disappointed in some of the cheesy plastic parts for a $1,000 kit (keyhole plate, screw covers, and some other parts are cheesy plastic instead of metal), and the cams are made out of cheap pig iron.Other than that, everything is as was advertised. My wife is thrilled with the final product, and used it with one of our grand daughters all day making quits yesterday. She is VERY happy!

This cabinet is spacious and just as described in the website. Putting it together is quite a job, though, but instructions are clear and easy to follow. I was able to put many of my sewing notions in the space provided, but if you are a serious quilter, probably you will need a cabinet that provides extra space to store all your templates, rulers and larger cutting mats.I had to enlist my son to help with the assembly, specially when I got to the doors, I would not have been able to do it by myself. The lift worked like a charm. I love the cabinet. I just have to buy the insert in order to cover the hole around my sewing machine because I would love to use it at level with the cabinet. Nothing personal, but it should be easier to buy. I realize it cannot be included because of the different types of machines accommodated by this cabinet, but come on! It should be an option to be added at the time one buys the furniture. All in all I give it five stars because it deserves it. It is a great cabinet.
