Forged from 8740 chrome moly, these bolts feature generous under-head radius and rolled threads for the utmost reliability. The threads are rolled after heat-treating, so their fatigue life is about 1000% longer than most main bolts that are threaded prior to heat-treating. With a nominal rating of 180,000 psi, these bolts are a premium replacement for OEM fasteners, and the kit comes complete with parallel-ground and hardened washers.

I broke of a main bearing bolt last week and had to delay my engine build until I rcvd these new bolts. I ordered from Summit Racing and Amazon. Amazon got me the bolts yesterday and I'm still waiting on summit's so I can send them back... Anyway these ARP bolts are very nice and smooth going in, my torque wrench clicked when it should, they torqued perfectly. They are expensive, but there is definitely a difference. I really like this company.

ARP bolts are of the highest quality. The threads are very clean and the bolts fit perfectly.
