I can't use these as seat cushions as they are so very hard. I use them to kneel on when cleaning the floor.Too uncomfortable to sit on.

I got two of these cushions. I really liked the way they looked and the grip they had on the back so I was ready to take the tags off.Normally, with a tag like this, you expect to be able to do a quick tear of the tag and that’s it. I did that with one and it created a large seam rip that exposed pure cushion beneath. I was shocked.So for the next one, I got out my scissors and I very carefully cut along the seam to take the tag off. To my shock, that also created a rip. A smaller rip, but a rip nonetheless.You can see in the photo of the tags that I didn’t even cut deeply enough to separate the tags from each other, and it still created a rip in the pillow.My brand new cushions are going to look instantly old and shabby unfortunately when I try to sew these rips back together with my poor sewing skills.It creates a big issue for the quality of a product when trying to remove a tag even by carefully cutting it off can create a tear that exposes open cushion padding.

We eat dinners in the family room while watching a movie and sit on an old couch with a coffee table that raises to table height. I am 77 years old and sitting on the worn and flattened cushions of the couch was causing pain in my hips so that it was difficult to walk for a bit when I got up from the couch. By the end of a 2-hour movie, my legs were uncomfortable and beginning to ache. My husband was having the same problems and move to a chair as soon as he finished dinner.Since we haven't found time to get out to find a replacement couch, I turned to Amazon to find a temporary solution. I ordered this "butt cushion" in addition to 4 others in hopes that one of them would relieve the discomfort of sitting on our couch. my husband wanted something firm enough to overcome the flattening of the old couch cushions, but, in trying the different cushions, he found that the shape and size is also important.Of the cushions I ordered, my husband chose this one to sit on. It helps to raise him to the table level and is firm enough to support his 180 lbs. of weight. I think he likes this one best because it isn't contoured for specific support. None of the contoured ones fit his contour. I should also mention the color of this pillow goes well with the couch color. So, the set looks nice as a throw pillows when not being used to sit on.You would think that finding a suitable cushion to sit on would be an easy task. In my experience of trying different cushions, I found that the perfect cushion is a very personal thing. Not only does it have to supply a comfortable firmness for support, but it must conform to your individual "butt contour". It is often necessary to try more than one to find the one that is perfect for you.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I was happy to find a pair of oatmeal neutral colored sea cushions for my barstools. They don’t have to be tied they have a gripper bottom and they’re comfortable.!

As with many others, I've been working at home some due to the pandemic. Because I'm not at home full time, I've hesitated to buy an office chair and usually just work at my kitchen table when I'm there. The wooden chairs are really uncomfortable. Thus my purchase. The cushion is a little smaller than the chair seat. I can't imagine it's a perfect match for every chair. Maybe I was just traumatized from sitting on the hemorrhoid inducing wooden plank for a couple of weeks. But this thing was instant relief. It is firm but in a good way. I don't want something so soft that I flatten it out in 2 days. It has held up very well. I paid just under $30 for a 2 pack of these cushions. So I didn't come into expecting the comfort of my $400 ergonomic office chair at work. But I was pleasantly surprised at the level of comfort for the price point. When I read through the negative reviews on products like this, I think what I often see are people that want something to perform at a level of something well beyond the price point of the item that they purchased. At the time of this review, they are 26.99 for 2. If you are paying that for chair cushions, don't expect it to cure all that ails you. They are very good quality cushions.Also, if you find they are a little small for your chair, I have found that positioning them so they line up with the very front of the seat and then centered on the sides is the most comfortable position for longer periods of sitting.

I am very pleased with how these look, how much stuffing they have, and the fact that they don't fall off of our chairs. We've had them a month and a half now and they have not flattened out.If anything, these have resisted being broken in. I think they are a quality product and not uncomfortable, though slightly stiff in the beginning. The first few days, the kids complained about them being too puffy, but they were used to our old flattened cushions, so I told them to "give it some time." Btw, that's my advice for life in general and Amazon shopping, just give it some time; change is difficult, but probably in a few days you'll get over it.So, yes, after a month and half, we are good with these cushions. Softer ones probably would be flat as pancakes by now, so I'm happy that I kept these.Update: We've had them for over a year now and they are still in great shape. We spot clean them occasionally with Spot Shot. **** Photo was taken after over 1 year of use.
