My dog absolutely loves these, and also the green variety of this brand also. He looks forward to one each night. The price is up over $8 now which is expensive for a 4 oz bag. Hope the price returns to where it should be.

My dog likes them but they got hard quickly. He still ate them. They are small so not sure how well they clean teeth. My dog is still a pup and has white teeth and always has fresh breath.

My dogs *LOVE* these treats, they are their favorite! I hope they NEVER stop making them. I was skeptical at first about how well they would clean my dogs' teeth, but I gave it a try. My dogs had moderate plaque, so I started giving them a ProDen Plaque Off chew in the am, (they will eat them, but they aren't their favorite like these are) and one of these Ark Naturals at night. They come to me at precisely 8pm demanding them, and they don't do that for the others. Sometimes the bigger one will come in ahead of time and try to trick me into giving it out early. The way I understood my reading, the kelp in the ProDen Plaque Off chews kinda makes the tartar thin and brittle enough to break away, while the ingredient in these Ark Naturals Protection+ treats cause a release of igA in their saliva which forms a protective barrier on teeth. We went from our vet telling us we needed to get dentals soon (both dogs will turn 4 this summer, and one is a chi mix, so their teeth go bad quickly) to clean teeth using these. I was surprised, because that included the incisors and canines, not just the molars they chew with. You have to be patient, it does take time to work. You need to give it ay least a good month to start noticing any results, and at least 2 months to see some good results. The smell is a little different...they have meat flavoring and clove in them among other things, so that's an interesting scent combo. Haha But it's not horrific, and you get used to it. It was just a surprise to me at first. They do work, though, so no complaints. My dogs have fresh breath, clean teeth, and the dogs didn't have any tummy issues, etc. with them.If you're wondering why I don't just brush their teeth, I have RA pretty bad, so my hands cramp up and hurt trying to get in my chi's tiny mouth with a brush. The treat combo I discussed above is my workaround, but I do try to get in there every now and then on one of my "good" days. This combo can be expensive depending on how many dogs you have, but it's definitely cheaper than dentals! Also better not to do anesthesia if you don't have to. Now that we have pretty clean teeth here, I'm considering maybe dropping the ProDen Plaque Off chews since the dogs aren't that excited about them, and will keep going with these. It would be interesting to see how well they help prevent plaque and tartar on their own. For now, I definitely recommend these, and I signed up for the monthly subscription for the bigger bags. I think my dogs would completely freak out if I missed giving any. They can be pricey in the small bags at retail stores, but you might want to get a small bag first to sample and make sure they agree with your dogs and they like the flavor. Hope they work well for you also if you try them!

My dog Milo has been using the ARK NATURALS Protection+ Brushless Toothpaste for Mini Breeds since he was a pup, and it’s been a fantastic addition to his daily routine for the past five years. He absolutely looks forward to these dental chews every morning, eagerly waiting for his "toothpaste treat." The chews are not only effective at keeping his teeth clean and fresh but also seem to genuinely enjoy the taste. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in his dental health, and they’ve helped reduce tartar buildup over the years. The 4oz bag is convenient and lasts quite a while, making it a great value. If you're looking for a reliable and enjoyable way to maintain your dog's dental hygiene, I highly recommend these chews—they’ve become an essential part of Milo's day!

I used to give my dog Bark Bright dental chews, but I had a couple of issues with the company. First, they provide a tube of "toothpaste" that you have to squirt inside the chew yourself. But the opening in the chew to insert the gel is smaller than the tip of the tube, so you can't really get the gel inside the chew very well.Secondly, when I tried to reorder Bark Bright from Amazon, only the kits were available, not just the chews. I still had a whole extra tube of the gel, and only wanted the chews. So I went to the Bark website to order. Immediately, there's a pop-up that says "Enter your email to get15% off your order." Once I entered my email, it took me to another screen where you ALSO have to put in your phone number to actually get the discount. By then it's too late. If you don't want to provide a phone number, you don't get the discount and they've already got your email. This is a shady business practice in my opinion. I emailed them about it and they replied with some BS answer, like a politician does when he says a bunch of stuff but doesn't really say anything at all.So I looked for a similar product and found ARK Naturals. They sell the chews with the "toothpaste" already in the middle. No more struggling to get the gel into the chew, and hopefully a more ethical company. Plus, the ARK chews are half the price! I got 20 chews for $13. Even though I ordered the Small Breed option, they're easily big enough to cut in half, giving me 40 chews. Contrast that with the Bark Bright product where you get 30 chews for $26.My only issue is that nowhere in the product description on Amazon does it say how many chews are in each bag. It just says, for example, "12 Ounce (Pack of 1)." I knew there couldn't be just one chew per package, so I finally bit the bullet and ordered just to see. I was pleased with the amount of chews per 12 oz package, but they really should include this information in the product description!

Great treat for my dog it loves the taste. Price point is a great value. This treat was not harsh on my dogs stomach. There is a slight order but good quality. It’s a bit chewy and did not leave any residue on my carpet.

My dog loves it as a treat and her teeth are cleaner after a few weeks of use, worth the price.
