I clean my reels multiple times a year. Good kit. Enough to do a lot of reels. Kit will last me 2 years minimum and I clean 20+ reels a year. I usually use the grease completely before I run out of oil.

Super convenient to have all of these items packaged together, and in a package that I can hang on a peg board, out of the way when not in-use. I pulled the trigger on this pack after reading other favorable reviews, and I completely agree that these lubricants seem to do a great job refurbishing my reels. I have very limited experience cleaning and lubing reels with other products, but I honestly see no reason to try any others after using these.

I ordered the kit pictured in the Amazon page. The reel butter oil on the page has the long thin tip on the bottle for precise and easy application. I got a short blunt tip that makes getting to the deep parts of the reel very difficult. Not as described. Ardent products are great. I just got punked on this purchase. Disappointed.

I had an old spinning reel that had belonged to my dad - it was one of his favorites, and when he passed away, it was one of the things that came to me. He'd used it for both fresh and saltwater - and it needed some help. I don't know that he ever took it apart, cleaned it and lubricated it it. It took me about an hour since this was the first time I'd done such a thing - but that reel is like brand spanking new now - it casts and retrieves so smoothly - like it just came out of the box. I've got a few more reels to do the same with and I have no doubt they will work just as well, once I am done.

This is an excellent kit if you want to service your reels. Not really sure you need the cleaner but the oil and butter is as good as any I have ever used
